You guys are great! I'll age myself and tell you that that song was the number one song in Charlotte, NC -- as decided per radio contest -- back in the late 60s, as I recoil. I've heard that the Cowsills were the model from whence the Partidge Family sprang...and overtook them. I suspect the song was a bit of an anthem of Flower Children (basically the opposite of the Nazi Youth League). Groovy times, really. Thanks for paying tribute.
