I miss smallbore rifle shooting like that. I had an entry-level rifle made by Anschutz for years and then I sold it to buy whatever plastic fantastic wondernine I wanted that month :(
there not weapons! there rifles. big difference and in this sport it matters if your politically correct. ( also she shouldent be taking the stock out of her shoulder if she can help it but it s a poor habit to form)
You're right. Nobody would be dissuaded by hundreds of small arms being shot at them from concealed positions and precise aim every time they entered a city....hmmm...maybe they would. -From Iraq, LTC David W. Johnson
Not at all. If I hunt, I sit or walk until I get to take a shot or two. Then, I spend the day cleaning and skinning. At the range, I shoot alot, stop by the store and pick up something to cook. Seems the priorities lay out better that way.
u got a problem with this? well let me tell you the sport is way more difficult than it looks. you would never know what goes into it without trying. this is an olympic sport and it takes quite an athlete to excell. with your attitude about it, you'd never shoot well. have some appreciation in SMALLBORE shooting.
Obviously you haven't done anything with the finest hint of precision in it, let alone shooting...although these kids probably won't make it in the shooting world with those bad positions I think you should get your thumb out and not criticize others pastimes, likes, or dreams. Olympic shooting is a way of life not a "joke of a sport" ribbon dancing is a joke, but it's my decision to make what should stay in the Olympics and it's not your job either. So leave the kids alone.

"A good reason nobody wants to invade the United States."
I'm sorry, but that kind of shooting doesn't have anything to do with warfare

i shot. im thirteen. we shoot inside though since its winter. at 15 meters the tagets are VERY small. and we use electronnics to see the result
laffe222 3 years ago
thats not the point. The point is that if anyone were to invade, there are plenty of good shooters who would send them packing.

true but i prefer the walking around the countryside part of shooting and getting some fresh air more then the firing the gun continuosly all day.

how big is the v bull or x at 50 yards?
ac4419 4 years ago
Good question. I would have to check. Off the top of my head, I think it is the size of a .22, but I'm not sure. dwj

it's 50 METERS! slight difference but it does matter.
OnlyAnschutz 3 years ago
at 50 metres the targets are smaller. only a mm could mean the diference betwen a nine and a ten
laffe222 3 years ago
anschutz are such good guns! soo comfortable and accurate.
