You get this mount in Story Mode by becoming as evil as possible. (No Honor) Then you will call your horse and this one will come.

@lumpymoose200 No, you get the Dark Horse by doing that. The Dead Horse doesn't technically exist in Red Dead Redemption; you have to alter the saved data in order to get it.

Dead Horse is just a mount they used for the Spare the Love, Spoil The Son mission. If you walk into the Bear's Cave, you can find it's this exact one, except being dead. ACTUALLY dead.

see in the game code it spawns the horse and the bear kills it, if to spawn it the bear doesn't kill it(mabye if you save the horse before the bear kills it you can get it without mods/edits!)! As for multiplayer, well mods are needed to use it.

How do you get teh other dead horse?

I know it exists, but i've only ever seen it in the Undead Nightmare trailers and one other video.

Its ribcage is open and exposed, and its head and neck are entirely rotted away to skeletal form. Is there a code for it too?

actually, this can be accessed by a rare skin glitch, the same one that makes people fly and bears ride horses. Also, if the glitch happens and is really awesome, you can see the marshall laying dead next to the cave, or bonnie or anyone but john, because his model is rendered seperately.

In order to get the Zombie Horse...all you have to do is kill your original horse you get at the beginning of the game. Then press the button that calls the horse, and the zombie horse will come.
