NEW Lithium-Titanate batteries have a life expectancy of 10 to 20 years.

-Lithium-Titanate batteries can be charged in 5 minutes. - Can operate at temperatures as low as -30°C and as high as +60°C - No risk of thermal runaway - No battery explosion

  • Nice One! Im going to try the same as this with a modified joule thief circuit.

Have you thought of using 3-4 Mobile Phone batteries in series to get the 12v? I think it would fit in the case you have great!

    Paul.

  • Hey Paul-- I think that it would work. Those thin batteries would fit right in there.

  • Ive been getting 1.3AHr at about 12.4v off three of them.

Cant remember the Ah's of your other battery but you can place them in parallel to increase the AH to 2.6AHr.

  • GBluer---Yep. This is all about bang for the buck.

  • Vary Cool LidMotor,,

will you be making a Diagram for this for us to try and make one? I have been follow your cfl table top but now that you have it finished I would like to make one for fun:)

    GOOD JOB! Bill

  • Hey Bill--This one is real simple. The two main parts are off the shelf premade circuit boards that I just stuck together. One is a4.5v flourescent tube inverter circuit board. The other is an adjustable step down switching voltage regulator. I bought them both online. Less than $20. Google em. Its an easy build.
