  • wicked!

  • @joadhenry: Thanks!

  • wow, i remember these from the late 70's. my grandma taking me to the local shoppers drug mart and buying me one every year. they used to come in a cardboard box. it was basically a plastic suit you slipped into that tied in the back, and a plastic mask. when you would breathe the sweat would collect on the mask. awwww. memories!!!

  • @LadyScorpio39: Hahaha yeah they were so crappy! But, it's what we had! :-D

  • @smutoys

yes, but we thought they were great! LOL i thought i was the bomb wearing my plastic wonder women costume.

loved your video. brought back some great memories!

  • @LadyScorpio39: True, crappy as they were, they were totally awesome back then! You weren't cool if you didn't have one haha!

    Ooh Wonder Woman! \m/

And thanks! Glad ya liked it! I have a bunch of stuff from my childhood, might be showing more eventually.

  • cool collection maybe oneday that will be worth alot of money so keep it all together

  • @grizzleybearz282004: Unfortunately I sold 'em already.

  • HA! I used to cut my tongue on the small opening they had cut out for a mouth hole. Alot of times what my mom did was just placed the mask on top of our heads like a hat. Then she would paint our faces to match the character we dressed up as. Growing up we had several different types of costumes. From the plastic store bought ones. To ones my mom made herself. Then theres the ones we made ourselves that I remember the most. LOL

  • @firestepher72: Awesome, the homemade stuff is always the best!

  • My mother thought I was weird, she would make me nice costumes and I wanted one of those plastic ones, because they were all over the stores, and all my friends had them. I remember those costumes, brings back fun memories of Halloween as a kid just seeing them.

  • @TheQueendott: That is pretty weird when you could have nicer costumes, buuut... It's totally natural as a kid to want what our friends and other kids have as well. When we're a kid we don't want to be different. :-D

  • A plastic jumpsuit with a vacuform mask with eyeholes so small that you could feel your eyelashes brushing up against the sharp edges.

By the end of the night, you were drenched in sweat and breath moisture.

  • @MiHiVidz: Yeah, those were the days... Haha!

  • hey onelegosstudio if you did not knew that spider man had untility belt go check spider man 1970 6

  • It's always interesting to see a piece of history. I wonder if anyone reviews costumes?

  • @SamD465: I've got plenty more vids of vintage toys from the 60's, 70's and 80's, I just haven't uploaded them yet. And more still to be shot as I go through more of my collections that have been stored.

As for costume reviews, hmm, I wonder also. I might have to search that. Could be interesting, I do have a couple Halloween costumes I could try giving a review of.

  • @kingsdailyvloggs: Haha!

  • Spiderman had a utility belt? lmao i never knew that xD

  • @onelegostudio: Hell yeah, every great hero needs a utility belt, hahaha!

  • @onelegostudio Actually, he did. It was just for his camera (to take photos to sell to the Bugle as Peter Parker, of course) and extra web fluid cartridges and he wore it under his skin tight leotards (how it never shown a bulge is a mystery), but he did have one if i recall correctly.

  • LOL! i dare you to wear the spiderman costume! lmao jk xD

  • @onelegostudio: Hahaha who knows, I maybe could still fit in it!!! :D :D :D

  • nice! and dude by the way have you seen the walking dead? i thought it was great!

  • @TheCommander35: Yup, it was awesome.

  • @smutoys dude um oh yeah man um have you found a modem for your xbox because i realy would like to play with you loL!

  • @TheCommander35: Still can't get it to connect.

  • @smutoys dude before i tell you about that my favorite seen from the new film predators is when the main character goes up to the pred tied to the todem and says hey heyi want off this danm planet the ship the ship! you under stand me dont yah! lol! it was so funny watching that lol!

  • Hell Yeah!! Chips!!! I would watch that show every day!! Awesome costumes!! those vintage costumes are sick.. its amazing how cool those costumes were for us as kids!!

  • @MrMpala69conv: For sure man. Silly as they might look compared to costumes now, it's what we had back then, those were cool! :D

  • Damn dude, those are pretty old lol

I'm surprised that those boxes are still in good condition. Most of the people can't even keep a box of cereal in good condition before they finish the whole box lol

  • @guatepower: Hehe yeah, most of my vintage toys are in excellent condition 'cause they were always getting stored away in boxes.

  • Ha! I remember my brother had that Spiderman costume! I also think he had the CHiPs dress up deal at some point! My childhood favorite was the Tuskan Raider costume my Dad made for me... I think I actually have pictures of me wearing it somewhere!

  • @huttwigley: Oh man, homemade Tusken Raider costume, that sounds awesome! You gotta dig up pics of that!

  • cool that first spiderman costume looks so old and different

  • @MegaGerard1234: Yeah, super different. Weird even. :)

  • Perfect halloween special. Great stuff. Hulks utility belt is actually not as haphazard as I expected. A radiation detector is at least something bruce banner would probably carry.

And "Hulk gauntlets". Electronic "Hulk hands" from the 2000's would have blown their minds.

  • @popculturehero: Yeah, that radiation detector does make sense for Bruce Banner.

And oh man, those Hulk hands would blow the minds of kids 30 years ago. :D

  • it amazes me the stuff you still have! someday you could open your own museum with with this stuff!

  • @GINERDCOMMANDER: I've had practically everything from my childhood. Buuut, most if it is going. I'm not into keeping stuff just to keep them, I mainly just want stuff I'll actually use. With the exception here and there. Otherwise, it's going... Plus, I need the money. ;)

  • @BCREVIEWS4628: It's more thanks to my parents not being the type to get rid of stuff. I know I would have not wanted them to get rid of stuff, but I also doubt I consciously wanted to save them for the future. Just keep them just to keep them maybe. And there's still plenty more to come. I have some very cool Mego toys to show off soon. ;)

  • Dude, my uncle Leroy (yes, that was his name) used to work at Ben Cooper when the company was based in New York. Of course we got the hook-up year after year. Cool vid'. Brought back memories...I need some tissue.

  • @DaddyIvo: Oh wow that must've been awesome to have gotten hooked up with costumes and stuff! Ah those childhood days... Everything was so much simpler...

  • awesome

  • @airborne246: Thanks.

  • I had plans for a special Halloween video but I ran out of time. There's always next year! Besides, I did do a review of the Halloween Hot Wheels a few weeks ago and I was busy playing poker the last couple nights :)

You need to find your old costume pics for next year!

  • @racegrooves: Yeah, I'm kinda bummed I didn't make any special Halloween vids. I had some things planned (namely a stop motion special), but also just didn't have the time. I never thought of digging up old pics, that could be interesting. I don't have a scanner though.

  • great video i was mario for haloween

  • @xyxyxyfan: Thanks and cool!

  • @starwars7065: Yeah man I got a lot of old stuff to show off, I just get lazy to shoot vids. ;)

  • pretty cool you should have seen how manny reeses i got

  • @TheToyreviewer24: Haha that's what I'm giving out to trick or treaters.

  • @smutoys i also got so many milk duds and lolipops i was luigi for halloween

  • @TheToyreviewer24: Cool!

  • the chips 38. cal looks real!

  • @eddieon: Yeah seriously, I would so get busted with that outside!

  • These toys you weren't born yet. The radiation detector look liked the starfleet communicator from Star Trek. LOL.

Chips! Man you got a merchandise. That's insane!

Get a real handcuff with the ladehs... Aww yeah. LOL! Haha!

  • @geekmatic: Of course I already have some handcuffs for sexy time! :D
