Gary busey is a genius because of this. You look at all these geeky basterds that think about what they say for too long, and what happens every single time they do it? However, the person you have described as a "geeky bastard" is on one end of the spectrum and and Gary Busey is on the other, I believe a middle ground is the wisest and healthiest path. I do not wish Busey would change or not exist, I do not find him annoying or ignorant. As a matter of a fact, I admire his character. @deadpooh I take him quite seriously because I consider his angle, and the direction his arrow of thought is going in. Inhibition is honestly a curse. Doctors can't tell patients "you're a fat fuck" because it'll hurt their self esteem. But it's just truth. Truth is truth. You don't need to cover it up. You need to say it - especially if it is offensive because then you know what you need to do.

But how can 'lies' create balance? Perhaps they can in the short term but eventually the 'truth' comes out, and now we're back to chaos. Honesty and truth has caused some self deprecation in my life. So ... don't lie ;) Also - don't cater to the lowest common denominator of society. The people that can't handle the truth ... just need leaders who can. We don't need to reason with unreasonable people. It's not possible. But they can still adapt.

In a perfect world, there would be no lies, but then there would be no truth because lies define the idea of truth.
