If more developers took the care and attention to quality that Rockstar does, I think more people would get into video games. The most advertised games are shooters like CoD and Battlefield where nothing original is offered, and even classic platformers have been done so many times I have gotten sick of them. Rockstar Games is one of the reasons I'm still a gamer.

@leousifyeverything i'd hate to say something so blatantly inaccurate as well. graphics i suppose may be similar (not the facial animation, but in a general 'believable character models/ environment' sense) but the targeting in this game is SOOO much better. LA Noire was a downgrade on Red Dead's shooting mechanic, & this game's targeting/ shooting looks way better than Red Dead's was... I think you're just over-generalizing it....

In multiplayer theyll have some kind of perk or killstreak system. One of them is bullet time. If you engage bullet time while you look at an enemy or target an enemy then they will also go into bullet time so that should be cool. And each perk or killstreak, whatever they call it has 3 levels to it. Gang wars sounds pretty interesting and if anyone wants full info rockstar has an article on their site

Rockstar probably has to be my favorite developer. Unlike "ugh Infinity Ward" "Ugh" they don't half ass their games with the same repetitive bullshit just to make a quick buck. Look carefully. The bullet-time system is almost entirely different than previous Max Payne titles. BT would last much longer and cannot be recharged by killing foes. Also those badass "killstreak reloading" animations appear to be gone.

However, there's still couples of months before release, and these above may change by then. And so far despite the loss of the "Sam Lake-ish" dark atmosphere, everything else looks just incredible.

Still hate Remedy for giving up the Max Payne title.

Respect to Rock* for taking their games seriously. Not only do they release quality games, but they bring new innovations to the table. Really, how many times will developers follow the same gameplay style thats been done so many times. The attention to detail, for example shooting from the hip allows the arm to break free of the entire body moving and once you aim in, the screen zooms, but also the character holds the gun with both hands for superior control and precision. Only a person of low intelligence would say that Rockstar's game suck. They actually take their time to put out a quality product, and their attention to atmosphere and detail is remarkable. Top-notch voice acting, writing, story lines, plus way more gameplay than most games out there with their 6 hour campaigns-Rockstar has set the bar so high. If you can't appreciate that, why don't you go play Killzone 3. I think it's story was written in about five minutes and the voice actors sound absurd.
