It does sound like dancing in the dark but I've seen brucey live and there is a distinct difference in the two songs but I'm not surprised, they did it with viva la vida which was a total rip off of Joe satriani so ... Still an amazing song they just can't write a bad one

I think the viva la vida thing was just by case, an accident. changing the melody by just one or two notes could have been enough to pretend the whole joe satriani-rip-off story.
