It amazes how Elfen Lied is. This anime may be bloody, but it shows so many thematic topics that trouble everyday lives. Just compare the Diclonii to the Africans when the Portoguese conquered. See how they were treated. Lucy really suffered. People who complain over little things should watch this anime. I know it has definitely changed me...
Racism and hatred are all over Elfen Lied, you are right. All the people who complain about it being too gory are right, but it just shows us what actually took place in real world - genocide, etc.
I loved the story for the thoughts it gives you. Basicly it's a story of a person who got beaten up by this life and completely lost it. And nevertheless was able to find love and care from the people she hated.
Really makes you go into deep thoughts, doesn't it? =)
I have never wrote a review so it won't look like it, I really like your amv. I didn't like how suddenly Lucy's childhood came after her escape, the images were very fast, Probably you did that because she was hit by the bullet but it doesnt fit right in my opinion. (The music is very slow at that point) I really love the effect at 1:04, the red is really a contrast with the grey background. I didn't like the eraser/rubber at 1:16, it doesn't fit very well.

Yeah, the erase is probably out of place. I put it there for the lyrics "erase all the pain till it's gone".
