Cabelle was born in 1933. The voice has definately aged but is in great shape. I hope I sing this well at 71! It is nice to see that audiences still respect her for her greatness.

Again, it's Caballé in all her past splendor and prime: pathetic. Sorry, but one should know when to stop, and stop altering the music composed by great masters, even if Caballé was undeniably one of the greatest ever.

Certes ce ne sont plus les absolus beaux jours, mais quelle ligne encore, quelle tenue de son, et le timbre presque intact: quand on pense aux carrières qui durent moins de deux ans, et qudn on pense qu'avec toutes ses folies elle devrait être MUETTE depuis 30ans!! Chapeau...et émotion

Her voice is so weak, so patchy. She should have stopped singing a decade ago. I love Caballe, but this is an affront to her artistic legacy.

She is incredible, still now. And she can prove that, she can prove the fact that a perfect technic makes the career last longer.

Her voice is not what she used to be, but she sings much better than other young and beautiful singers from nowadays.

So, she is not young anymore, but she sings for an audience who is delighted to hear her.

I watched the clip again after several months, and you're right, she's not so bad here. But this was four years ago, and more recent clips show the voice unraveling...
