Some people just don't appreciate neo-classics. And this is a neo-classic that pays homage to all the great retro-classics (especially retro-futuristic classics like The Black Hole and 2001). Wall-E does kinda lo0k like Johnny Five, but his personality is more like E. T. -- and he plays Atari. Wall-E embodies the spirit of all of us who grew up in the '80s (and everyone else to). Or at least, I hope so.
I have no kids of my own so I watched it with my former ro0mmate's daughter. That is, after having already watched it all by myself. XD Judging by your evaluation of this masterpiece, I take it that you could see yourself in Wall-E just like I did. And you're right that it's not about environmentalism. I like to use Auto and the Axiom as an allegory of the welfare state, but the MOvie itself isn't about that either. Any young kid who actually understands this story impresses me.

DUDE! This was an awesome review, i totaly agree!! This movie brought me back to the older disney films that i felt were long gone after Mulan. Movies touch people in different ways, how many critics actually say why they enjoyed a film, they just say they did.

UsedFuture88- I liked the idea of The Mist but I hated hated hated the execution. Check out MR.Blacks review, cuz I agree 100 percent. It had so many annoying characters act unbelievable.
Used Future do rent the mist it is a great sit at home in the dark movie ... my b-friend and i loved it ... i thoguht the cast of characters were interesting and at times off the wall weird like most of steven kings master pieces ... the only thing i did not like as steven did not do his expected cameo apperances this time around ... (boohoo i always looked forward to that) ok cool take care and have fun viewing the flick!

Definitely your best review yet. I think I took the wonder out of this movie a little bit for myself by reading all the reviews before I saw it so it did not end up being my favorite Pixar movie but after I thought about it for awhile.. I realized it really did live up to what they said about it, quite an achievment for Pixar!! I think they are the best studio to ever hit the face of the earth!

Used Future do rent the mist it is a great sit at home in the dark movie ... my b-friend and i loved it ... i thoguht the cast of characters were interesting and at times off the wall weird like most of steven kings master pieces ... the only thing i did not like as steven did not do his expected cameo apperances this time around ... (boohoo i always looked forward to that) ok cool take care and have fun viewing the flick!

Great Review Fury You Are the Best Man I would you Think that there was a time that Disney Almost Dissapered because it lost there money and now there back with a vengence and bought pixar in the last year and now With John Lassener (if i wrote his last name bat please forgive me) is now the New Walt Disney(and your god bless your son)

wow! great review. u clearly understand wat pixar movies r all about. i feel the same way about most pixar movies. there's definatly sumthin special about pixar and its probably the way they make movies out of their love 4 story telling rather than out of their want 4 money. the ppl at pixar r incredible!

SurooshX- I wanted my boy to be a part of something special and seeing his first movie was special enough but then I wanted to put him in the review so it can be..I guess, documented. Some people keep keepsakes, others take pictures, Me , I wanted him in the review.

Definitely your best review yet. I think I took the wonder out of this movie a little bit for myself by reading all the reviews before I saw it so it did not end up being my favorite Pixar movie but after I thought about it for awhile.. I realized it really did live up to what they said about it, quite an achievment for Pixar!! I think they are the best studio to ever hit the face of the earth!

I really miss doing it, but I've been so crazy busy to sit down and spend more time to actually make the videos than it cost to actually watch the movies... maybe I can get one or two up soon... we will see... I definitely still review them ( at least in my head )!! LOL!

Very nice review. I know it has to be hard reviewing a movie after a week or so has gone by. How can you say something that has not already been said before. This was easily your best review yet. A perfect review of this movie. I could not agree with you more.
