Just a little piece of useless information from a nut fan. I started playing guitar after hearing Floyd for the first time at age 12, then I got into his solo stuff and the rest is history. A lot weight is put on speed these days. David not only can write symphonies but he can also conduct Philharmonic Orchestras. His timing is absolutely flawless and he makes every note count rather than burn through scales
