Not that I'm into mythology, but surely they don't think a banana is the forbidden fruit. I say that because it doesn't really grow on what I would call a tree. The largest banana plant I've ever seen here could be kicked a few times and taken down. Granted, most people just use a machete.

6:00 i think banana was 'made' by humans. original bananas need to be cooked, what we eat is a mutation of 2 different type of bananas and yellow one doesn't exist in nature on its own, i think it even can't reproduce by itself. I might be wrong

I think that the audience testing for the pilot probably indicated that Fry was being a bit too mean to Alan. You notice a much more chill Stephen as this series keeps moving (wonderfully) along.
