The line at the end "I've been so good to that boy, why did he steal all of my lighters" was an improvised line by pete while he was digging into his pocket to find a light. The line was a reference to Pat. Pat and Pete were constantly stealing each others lighters. Eventually pete finds his lighter and goes to sit on a stool which is broken and he falls over and thats how the album ends....Genius!

Yeah I to am a fan of pete but what you said is almost in the same league as amy winehouse calling herself a legend. Pete is a very awesome poet/musician BUT you gotta think long and hard before you do your comparisons. That's like saying George Bush is today's Alexander the great....
