What would happen with the drone if the control center lost connection to the plane? Does it come back to home airport on its own or does it fly around until it's shot down?
Missing uniforms, girls hair is down and that is not military standard. And as already pointed out, the girl said "roger-wilco" which is not comms standard for US military. Also, the display screen background seems to just be a repeating image. Finally the controls are toys, low-grade plastic. The real thing is way different looking, heavy duty, has a unique feel too. It;s a simulation of a simulator.
I suspect it was some sort of a trade show demo (perhaps a software package or even the hardware setup itself). Very high-end setup (desk, chair, ambient lighting, mounting hardware, custom moldings...very specialized stuff). Could be a package for some sort of (mil) training bid. It would be interesting to know the story behind the production.
You would think that there is some sort of story of substance behind it. As far as he setup, nothing seems proprietary, so I would imagine that its not hardware theyre pitching. I would have elbow rests for better ergonomics. Im a little stumped by the statement at 0:20 where her sensors confirm the white pickup target in building. Pretty good sensor!
Heh, the production values lead me to think it's a bit more than a somebody's basement setup. It appears to be a "studio" environment with that lighting. The camera angles and cuts prove it's a well-scripted display.
Nice to see a married couple work so well together in their basement. Nice setup, but I would put a mini-fridge under the desk for cold drinks and snacks :)
Google" 60 Minutes drone" and watch. The rooms are smaller and the chairs are different, but the controllers looks about the same. The pilots are men in uniform though.
Yep. I noticed the G15 and the HOTAS. I swear I've seen the little switches they have mounted under the monitors, as well (but I can't find a link to them). The desk/lighting/console/seat is a pretty fancy rig (especially the seat and molded mounting). It may not be military, but it's certainly not the average gamer's setup.
They are using a G15 Logitech keyboard and a Cougar joystick and throttle. Google both and see pics. Both for PC gaming. Hardly something that our military would use.
Most likely a F16/F14 game, see explosion at the end from a game.
It looks that the flame is fake.

Dam! You can't hear the target scream AAAA!

Also when the target impacts, the flames look absurdly fake ;)

It's "Roger" or "Wilco".
Congrats lady, you now sound as silly as you appear.

Yeah, my guess is that it's some sort of promotional or tradeshow clip for either the hardware or software package.
