  • ouch

  • back when Eau Rouge was tough as hell

  • wossy?

  • He cwashed is lous at d twicky Ow Wouge. Senne awived tew clows for comfout.

  • what is the year?

  • @MrHappySnacky 1993

  • scary music ;O

  • This was a bit silly from Senna as there were double waved yellows. He could have easily side-swiped a marshal at the top of Eau Rouge.

  • Jonathan Woss commentating Thewe

  • Alex Zanardi was one of my favorite CART drivers ever. He was a monster on the Chip-Ganassi/Target car.

  • How to park a car by Ayrton Senna.

  • zanardi? they spell my name wrong ^^

  • Jonathan Ross is a cunt

  • Michael Andretti must have felt at home when he saw the caution flags. He certainly wouldn't get this close to Zanardi very often 5 years later. Seriously, Alex is a greast bloke from all accounts and has been very fortunate to even survive two horrendous crashes in his career.

  • Andretti didn't slow down, that was his race pace.

  • He cwashed at Eau Wouge.

  • check out this site watch pretty much evey f1 race back to the 70s classicgrandprixclub

  • Senna and Zanardi, two of the best drivers ever.

  • @aml240sx Yes, they thrilled us with their daring style. One paid mightily. The other paid all.

  • Stupid f with the yellow flags thinks waving them 50 feet from the accident's gonna help.

  • @chackers - Google "flag marshall" - it's his job to stay right there at his station and wave double yellows for all it's worth.

  • @JBofBrisbane Shouldn't he be running upstream while he waves the flags, where waving them might make a difference? And I'm assuming that, in the same way the emergency broadcast system messages usurp your television, an alert is sent out to all the drivers' radios, overriding their conversation with their crews, telling them there's been an accident...or no?

  • @chackers Drivers must also be visually be warned where to start slowing down, to know exactly where is the wreck.

  • the twicky eau wouge corner XD

  • Who on Earth decided that was good music to play?

  • Did Senna arrive and spin the car?

  • @MagicAyrtonforever he purposely did to help

  • @dfkiller8823 no he arrived to fast and the debris put him on a spin and the he rushed to help zanardi

  • to watch old f1 races go to classicgrandprixclub

  • Just being quick in formula 1 is not enough. I do not want to be tendencious but look at Alonso, excelent driver, extremly quick and if not the best today, but is actitude is simply fake, just like Prost.

  • this is fast forward video playing speed

  • @stressmaker2000 noway dude

  • i love it how senna is more involved than the safety marshals :P

  • car just didn't turn :/

  • Senna always on the limit..even while crashing

  • Sounds like Johnathan Ross doing the voiceover. =/

  • haha look at the shitty car monitors and round steering wheel, ah the pace of technology...

  • ii cant believe he survived that. Praise the kevlar made mono cock cockpit!

  • no, Alex Zanardi. Ma lo senti il tipo che lo dice?

  • Is that Jonathan Ross?

  • I love when you can see Senna helping Zanardi in 0:24....we miss you Ayrton!

  • Is Jonathan Ross narrating this?

  • Nelson Piquet said that the pilot more dangerous than he knew was Zanardi .

He said Zanardi just looked forward, not sideways.

  • 0:14

    WAIT THERE! I'LL SAVE YOU!!

  • @newmanr523 u think u funny?

  • @spechtbert Oh no not at all, it was the actual translation from the recording of Senna's car, of what he said in brazilian at the time.

  • Note how Senna got out of his car after spinning off to help Zanardi. As ruthless as he was, he still had great respect and concern for his fellow competitors.

  • Comment removed

  • @Icosiol yep, a real champion

  • Probably the most violent F1 crash in history where the driver looked like he just been in a minor prang instead of being killed instantly.

Testament to the strength of the carbon fibre cockpits, had it been steel we would be looking at a scene of devastation, with bits of Zanardi and the car spread all over the track and beyond.

  • what was the year?

  • @F1RacingGame '94

  • @carcrazy1995 '93, Senna was at Williams in '94 but wasn't at Spa.

  • @blainyrules fue en spa

  • @F1RacingGame It was '93, not '94.

  • @rb1a1ba Thanks!

  • Next dumbass that asks here about why Jonathan Ross is comentating is going to get a knock in the head. From me. Watch out, people!!!

  • @nickie2011 But why is Jonathan Ross commentating nickie? :P Sorry, couldn't resist it.

  • johny herbert is zanardi,s team mate? herbert also had a huge crash in 1988

  • parking like a boss

  • senna was just parking

  • @b15owe Not only Parking mate. If you see closer to the video, you will spot Senna among the marshalls trying to help. Now, remind me something, did anyone "fuck" stoped to help Kubica when he crashed at Montreal a few years ago? No!! So, apart from the turbo era, v12 v10 and v8 engines, we have also another GAP between the Senna era and nowdays. Can you see my ponit?

  • @Shellocker Yessss!!!

  • OUCH!!!!!!!

  • andretti was a legend, he could drive any type of racing car and win

  • @juul384 Apart from in F1 - the pinnacle of Motorsport excellence.

  • @juul384 this is zanardi not andretti

  • @juul384 I guess he can´t drive an F1.....He retired 8 times in 13 races, what the hell are you talking about?

  • @FazanaWare I saw that 2 but i have seen ppl do similar things in car accidents and then die in the preceding hours or days

  • was this wreck fatal? and what year was this it dosnt look like any trackside first responders have fire suits on, or fire suits that are way to big

  • @tsharpmac420

He drove WTCC 2 or 3 Years ago and he is still alive :D

  • @tsharpmac420 This was 1993. He survived, which is pretty suprising considering Senna and Ratzenberger died at the start of the following year.

In case you don't know he lost his legs in a violent crash in September 2001 in the American CART series.

  • @MrThreshold2009 Yap, horrible! At least I am one who is aware about that violent crash! If you think of it, from a "black" point of view, it seems like Death was after him all his sporting life! And he always escaped. Now, even with no legs! HUGE RESPECT for him!!!

  • Wossy Wossy

  • Senna didn't arrive too fast for comfort, it was Senna god damnit! He pulled the E-Brake and parked thing so he could quickly get out and help his F1 colleague. That is just who he was. I miss him so much. ( joke about the e-brake )

  • @lilbro209 I hella LOL'd at this comment... Then realized it was mine.... O_o

  • @lilbro209 wtf

  • I dont care what he did to crrash or be a risk plain and simple he chose to help zanardi and I respect that. Stop reading so fucking deep into every detail.

  • @thehistorywatcher shut your mouth you inbred whore and learn something about f1 before commenting. Senna was the greatest, most elegant, graceful, master of racing. And scum like you dont get to comment about him.......Blow me!!

  • @villauptop

    Don't be retarded.

  • @Joocheem fuck you aswell whore

  • WHAT WAS HERBERT FEELING!?!?!?!?!

  • I think Andretti got penalised for "not slowing down under yellow flags"

  • Didn't Senna just drive right into Prost to win a title. I believe it was on the first lap in the first corner. Some gentleman. Some legend. Jimmy Clark was a gentleman and a legend. Senna was not.

  • @thehistorywatcher In 1990 Senna was just getting revenge for what Prost did to him in 1989.

  • @thehistorywatcher 100% agree, loser like Schumi

  • what a nice parking there by senna there!R.I.P greatest driver in the world ever and always will be

  • Senna park was amazing! LEGEND!

  • wow! 0:22 compare zanardi`s car with senna`s

  • heres an idea...why don't they put an "X" that lights up in all cars, so when a car crashes all the other cars light up so the driver can see that there has been a crash. Along with a GPS that tells them how close they are to the crash.

  • it wasn't as if senna was going anywhere with his car... he might be a good driver; but don't call him a good person because he stepped out of a wreck that he just crashed himself...

  • eau wouge?

  • o wouge?

  • Not the first time time that senna stopped on track to help a fellow driver.Class act.

  • @closs67 I'd hardly call that one "stopping on track" :D

But yes, I know what you mean

  • it is jonathan ross !!! listen when he says ARRIVE

  • Is that Johnathon Woss narrating?

  • @andysanj my thought exactly :O i was suprised...

  • Why did Jonathon Ross do this? xD

  • did he survive?

  • At 0:29 did he give the finger? LOL

  • "The tricky Eau Wouge corner"

  • @jaryd12345 lol its" eau rouge " :p

  • @legomonster608

the guy in the video pronounced it "W"ouge.

its not even a damn corner xD

  • @DVGTS1 oh lol ,i have been there alot and most of the "crashes" happen in eau rouge , so what is it then its not a straight or a corner ??

  • @legomonster608 its a very light bend to the left, then to the right(going uphill) then a very light left again. kinda like a very long chicane

  • @legomonster608 It's almost as if I was taking the mick out of Jonathan Ross' lisp 8-)

  • @jaryd12345 McWawens

  • senna almost killed a group of marshals :p

  • THATS HOW YOU PARK A CAR BRODAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think describing Eau Rouge as 'Tricky' is a bit of an understatement...

  • Fuck Jonathan Ross!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, at least Michael Andretti managed to do 1 thing better than Ayrton Senna.

  • @MrMcb1990 He was actually just going slow anyway, so it only seemed like he applied better braking in this instance. =)

  • @nghthwkz2 Or just something he learned from Indy Car Racing

  • @MrMcb1990 That was Andrettis normal raceing speed. He didn't slow down there.

  • @Saki2407 Obviously, because he just drove past the accident. I wonder if Alex Tagliani was watching this race...

  • @Saki2407 Lmao!!!!

  • @Saki2407 he's a fucking joke

  • Ummm... why is Jonathan Ross narrating an F1 documentary lol

  • @jaryd12345 becuse he is a huge motorsport fan and historian and was asked to do the narration for the official season review.

  • Senna's handbrake parking is awesome!

  • @Agerasia f1 cars don't have handbrake !!

  • zanadi=chuck norris of motosport

  • 0:30 - fajne TV

  • I once read that with this incident became taller of about an inch for the shot on the spine

  • Zanardi is indestructible.

  • It was always Senna in that days..

  • 0:17

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

    haha

  • Senna after he crashed, jumped out from his car and made an affort to help Zanardi. He was a real sportman.

  • @daniconnnect yeah, first he puts his life in danger and then he rushes to help. a real friend.:-((

  • hoooly shit Oo

  • why is jonny ross commentating

  • @mattcoster111

Before he was really famous I suppose.

  • Jonathan Ross commentating! Wtf?

  • And a couple of years later he lost his legs right up to his cock!

The 3rd leg came through unscathed

  • MOTHERFUCKER GOT OWNED!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • Why is johnathon ross commentating??

  • @DunkdaHunk Wossy used to do the end of season reviews.

  • The commentator sounds like Jonathan Ross

  • @ShinyMagnezone becasue it is dude o.o

  • @ShinyMagnezone It is - he narrated the 1993 review video

  • Where is this clip from?

  • lol

  • visit wwwdotf1predictionsdotnet - the BEST predictions game for the 2011 season, prizes for the winners.

  • Łoo K*urwa

  • jonathon ross did well to say his name with that lisp

  • @staceygirl82 love the way he says "Lowtusss"

  • ayrton senna: 100% power parking

  • Alex Zanardi survived this massive crash in 93? And then he made a miraclulous recovery then the next year 94,95,96 If I remember correctly he went to race in CART series (Indycars) with Chip Gannasy Honda winning numerous champions with Teammate Jimmy Vasser but sadly I believe it was late 90's from a crash in CART he lost both his legs. But then he moves on to Touring car racing in WTCC? And that was the last I've heard of him. He is so good, that Honda made a special edition NSX for him.

  • Senna... The modern David Purley.

  • "the tricky eau woozze corner"

    xD brilliant commentary

  • Ross trying to say eau rouge. classic

  • The yellow flag boy is doing one hell of a job!

  • he death?

  • isnt the commentator jonathan ross?

  • Too fast for comfort.....pfff he meant that!.

  • senna needs to get outta here. PROST

  • Senna!!!!!!His crash going out of the car and helps Zandardi that's a Driver!!

  • go to f1predictionsdotnet for the 2011 season

  • my favorite part is at 0:07 when the guy holds his arms up telling him not to drive anywhere.

  • horrible crash but you gotta love the way wossy says twicky eau wouge

  • Hey Colin Chapman, cut the bs right ? This is the Eau Rouge, it´s an upslope corner, where you have no vision whatsoever of what´s going on on the top until you actually reach the top. That´s why the Eau Rouge was known as a corner that separates men from the boys. The really special drivers would corner it flat out, with very little margin for corrections when getting a visual after reaching its top. Senna ignored nothing, he did what was possible to do.

  • @malthoff So why did Michael Andretti stop in time and Ayrton Senna didn't? Senna was reprimanded by the race stewards afterwards. do not believe I am making this up.

  • @TheColinChapman Andretti did it in time because, as I´ve said, he was one of the boys, cornering Eau Rouge without getting even close to flat out on the throttle. Senna was one of the few that did it full on. Do you get it now or you want me to draw it to you?

  • So much for all those who say that Ayrton Senna was a man with a heart of gold. The guy simply ignored the yellow flags and then had to force his car into a spin in order not to kill somebody. Ayrton was half angel and half devil. Just like Gerhard Berger said: "One moment he was reading the bible, the next moment he ran you over."

  • OMG!!! I hope the accident couldn't be so horrible....

  • Look who gets out and tries to help him, Senna. Legend.

  • @hunterandy and yet Senna still deliberatly ran people off the track.

  • @hunterandy he had no choice, having already crashed by arriving too fast and out of control, unlike his team-mate.

  • @wontberead

You're saying just because he was out of the race that he had no choice but to go help a crashed man out of his car? Most racedrivers, especially today would have just left the track ;)

  • @hunterandy Well, there are better examples of his gallantry - Erik Comas' crash for example. Sadly he is better known for causing crashes in the first place, rather than helping afterwards.

  • @wontberead yeah, why couldn't Senna be more like Micheal Andretti?

i know that I for one certainly tune into F1 for the mediocrity. Only the most banal drivers get my support.

  • @hunterandy i seen a few videos of senna going out the car and help... a true inspiration!

  • @hunterandy

Senna ignored the flags and then crashed in a crash scene. Andretti (hopeless as he was in F1) had slowed right down. Senna seemingly ignored (could not see the double waved yellows) and crashed.
