You can't explain it. It just gets in your blood and you are hooked. I have loved trains for soooo long that I can't ever remember not liking them. I am not so into the Amtrak passengers as I am with freight trains. The power, the beauty and the freedom that trains seem to represent. Like a hobo runnin from town to town riding freight trains. Its an american romantic

Sorry ONRMSTfan, I often forget about the canadian culture or just assume it is part of one. I know we share a lot of the same history together. The same music and we have 'imported' a great many actors and comedian from Canada. I just assume sometimes we are the same country, at least culturally speaking

lol we are connected like brothers canada and USA. It's too bad we don't share the same railroads like BNSF CSX and NS lol. We share CP and CN with you guys lol, but we don't get any of your awesome railroads unless it's leased power
