I would love to have seen a videoclip about this, with Hideki singing as the cool singer (although this song is perhaps too cool for him), and the rest of Chobits cast as the music band that accompanies him. Of course, Chii and Freiya, (or any other girl, like Takako o Yumi) making the backing chorus! Everything choreographiated by the great Sumomo... Hehehehe XD That would be sooo funny... I always see this image in my mind every time I listen to this.

Seriously the person who did all the music and everything for this series was a genius. So much different type of music in this series, its all good. Other series have shit soundtracks but not Chobits. I love it.

Ok, well that's probably beacuse it's not Hidekis voice you hear playing in the background of the dark chii theme, it's actually Kamui from x or X/1999. Another clamp manga. And I'm a big fan of X, so I would know.
