Hahahahahahaha.... We could fit the amount of Republicans that voted for Obama because they truly believe in his policies inside my basement with room left over. However, I may know 1 or 2 Republicans that voted for him because they realized that this slow road to socialism was going to go so slow we would never know what happened after a while. A few Republicans voted for him because they wanted people to WAKE UP. And it worked!
It's clear that Obama's positions are not even in the most vague terms something that lifelong Republicans could endorse. From his abortion stance to his "Huge Taxation Plan of 2009" to his promise to send tens of billions more of our money to other countries.
Now if you hear someone claim they switched to Obama from conservative ideals, they are most definetly an ultra-liberal pretending in the attempt to sway Republicans to actual vote for Obama in November.
That's always the claim NeoCons make. Almost every Democrat that runs for president in the U.S. is a radical liberal, their scary, elitist, they'll ruin this country for sure...fear FEAR. The Republican candidate (x) is safe vote for him.
There are many true conservatives and independents that hated what has happened in these past 8 years.
Republicans were told to support Obama to bring down Hillary. Once the tides were turned and Obama was far ahead in the polls, Limbaugh had us vote for Hillary to extend the Democrat nomination and create dissention in their ranks.
As you see now, it worked. Millions of Hillary supporters are not voting for Obama and their convention is already setting up to be a fiasco
I really hope lots of republicans vote for Obama. I watched this video about W. Virgina and those people didn't like Obama because of his name or the color of his skin. :( or "they didn't know anything about him" that is hard to believe. If you didn't know about someone who was going to run your country wouldn't you do research...
Comparing Lincoln to Obama? That's like comparing John McCain to Ulysses S. Grant. The two men represent opposite sides of the modern political spectrum and the time periods are completely different. I don't want LIBERAL experience determining who sits in the oval office. With the troubles we face we need someone who actually has LEADERSHIP experience, not the three senators who've each done their part in screwing over the US.
Not necessarily. I am registered as a Republican, and agree with my party's platform, and would normally vote Republican. In fact, if there was a Republican being nominated for President who could be counted on to stick to the platform, I'd vote for him. Since we are stuck with McCain, I am willing to switch sides for this election because Obama may be the better man, and because I am sure that it will cause some deep thought for the Republican party leaders.

As loathe John McCain, I would NEVER consider Barrack "Obummer" and here's why: -ONLY in the senate for 2 years and missed 1/5 votes -ONLY succeeded in one bill to give relief to Rep. of Congo -NO experience in healthcare reform -NO experience in foreign policy -NO experience in executive leadership -NO experience or plans to solve illegal immigration fairly -NO experience in the economy -NO respect for our flag, pledge, or soldiers -NOTHING more than smooth-talk NO WAY HE'S GETTING MY VOTE!
First of all: It's Rumsfeld, Al Queda, die, illegal, and that's why. If you're going to insult me, use spell check.
Secondly: As well as Obama may orate, you can't just "talk" away all of America's problems. Leading this country requires executive experience and unfortunately, we already lost Richardson, Guliani, Romney, and Huckabee and all that's left are three senators who aren't even that great the jobs they do. Listen, anyone can insult Bush, but that doesn't mean that they should be Pres.

Thanks for the spell check. But for Al Qaida I insist. It means "The base". Al qaida is the man on the mirror in our terminology. And the man I refer to here is our policy, our approach to problem solving and justice
Who Takes Money From Lobbyists? Hillary Clinton: $567,950 John McCain: $340,365 Mitt Romney: $229,475 Rudolph W. Giuliani: $212,100 Fred Thompson: $90,000 Barack Obama: $76,859 Duncan Hunter: $30,900 John Edwards: $18,900 Mike Huckabee: $6,964 Ron Paul: $0 Dennis Kucinich: $0

If you split your vote, if you vote for the man, not the party, you're an Independent, not a Democrat or Republican.

OBAMA is a far left idealogue.
He is for higher taxes, surrender in Iraq, partial birth abortion, and gay marriage.
No republicans will support him when his views are exposed.
