I really don't get whey people use bolt action sniper rifles in airsoft. The difference in range and accuracy between an AEG and bolt action is small, and minuscule compared to the advantage of an actual sniper rifle over an automatic. Fields also have FPS limits so in terms of FPS, you don't get anywhere either.

@1point61803 many fields allow higher FPS limits for sniper rifles because they can't shoot full auto and don't allow you to shoot people less than 10m away (like some places don't allow full auto while indoors - each fields has it's own rules).

Snipers will also have a spotting role with their scope, which has a magnification a bit too high to be used by an AEG in mid-short ranges. The only disadvantage is the performance/price ratio.

I got lucky and got a shirt, I was really excited to find it and wore it until I found it to be too insulating for summer wear and the fabric felt like it wouldn't tolerate as much abuse as 100co US M81 BDU ripstop fabric or BW moleskin or even UK plain weave summer S95 fabric, I retired it in favor of an issued UK S95 shirt. In retrospect the camo felt too dark for temperate deciduous forests in NE USA. I want to know what you think of the uniform top jacket/shirt?

To all ghillie suit owners, use them in low light and dusk/dawn. Then you are a ghost. I'm a boy scout, in not accually a normal scouting group. But we made a drop for the younger group at dusk, I had to play a monster so I took my ghillie suit. They walked at like two feet away, and didn't see me.

How is it definitely German? The only other camos the Germans use is there winter variate, the desert variant and a jungle variant. This isn't the jungle variant obviously because the jungle variant is the same pattern, only brighter. I would love if you could actually say or show what this is because I really like the look and would like to know what it is.

What's the problem with adding some tactical moment to the game? I don't play airsoft but if I did I think I would find it much more rewarding to actually set up plans for attack and so on...? hi i got a question, im a airsofter now for about 5 months. Ive been usin a utg m14. Its an awesome badass gun but im gettin sort of bored with it. Can i use a spring gun in like arenas (such as hollywood sports) or can you only use it in the woods.

The answer is yes; well, it's not against the rules, but indoors (most likely a CQB situation) a spring gun is not recommended. For example You walk around the corner of a large crate to find your opponent aiming at you with his AEG. He unloads on you before you can squeeze off another shot. Other than that (outdoors) spring guns can be effective in the right hands, as long as you dont full on charge someone with an AEG. Try to stay stealthy when you have a spring gun.

ok, this has to be the most fun, hard working, and most rewarding sport out there. it build character and integrity, not to mention teamwork. i've been playing airsoft for 3 years now with my team (Relentless Resistance, formerly HEAT) and its really made us more respectable people, and also airsoft doesn't kill you like joining the military so its good clean fun :D
