anyone who is stridently speaking out against this sweet little boy is ridiculous this is a perfectly lovely performance by a young actor. im not saying its perfect but its very sweet if a little misguided. in terms of billy elliot i'm pretty sure they wouldnt let him on the stage if he was so much worse than all the billys and if thats the case then im sure he's pretty bloody amazing. and so what if he isn't as good... remember 3 of the 5 have been doing it a lot longer than him. BE NICE!!!!

I saw Sam a week ago in Billy Elliot and he was fantastic. He has improved MUCH since this video was taken. He danced well, and his acting was very strong and moving. It was really an incredible performance.

i saw him as billy and i can honestly say he is the weakest one i have seen so far. i don't get the acting thing. and the singing sucks. he may have made it to billy but i doubt he'll make it to anything else. his dancing is so not up to the mark

His parents must have paid over £5,000 to AMTC to get him to be seen. What a waste of money. I will look out for him in the future but I don't think we'll be seeing much more of him. If you have the money, you can pay to be seen. But you know what, money can't buy you talent and this is a living testimony of that.

Sam Angell is a fantastic Billy. He is a brilliant actor, a great dancer and a good singer. On top of that, having met the guy and his family and had a good chat with him, I can honestly say he is a really down to earth, level headed and polite young man. And he's funny too.
