  • Royal Mail is full of thickos

  • Get the fuck to work you stupid cunts and deliver my fucking shit.

  • @paiceyd No, we like it when you're angry. Get off your fat arse and go pick up YOUR mail YOURself, you stupid cretin. You take the service for granted, because you're spoilt. No-one's forcing you to use Royal Mail you dumb dullard.

  • watch out brothers Moya Greene is coming..stand firm.

  • sack all these lazy bastards!

  • line-managers are cutting posties throats for a couple of quid...disgraceful...

  • Why don't channel 4 do a documentary on private couriers we will see how many complaints people have on them.

  • I have had parcels delivered by private couriers. One time the guy left the parcel lying at the front door in full view of passers by ,i was very lucky it wasn't nicked.Another occasion a private courier left a parcel in the pissing rain.

  • @vary08-royal-mail posties are already delivering the competions mail [check top right of your mail]. this was delivered by a royal-mail postie..royal -mail are delivering the competions mail and not making any money on it .Work that one out?

  • @ longs81well said.! unfortunately some of the halfwits on here haven't got the intelligence to work that out. so f....them!

  • They have failed to track four recorded delivery letters....funny how this has happened a total of 11 times in 2009 alone to me, all from the Manchester Postal Office in the City......no excuse for it, I use parcel monkey, dhl and ups, more reliable. The solution has to be better competition, I would pay another company more than go through this incompetent company. Such a shame what has happened to R Mail.

  • We're striking to protect a service that's being run into the ground by a management system that wants it privatised so they can fuck off with a pay off on their horses like the cowboys they are.

  • I wouldn't mind them striking if they actually delivered, both figuratively and literally.

As I write this, I'm waiting on a special delivery package which was supposed to be guaranteed to arrive yesterday (and paid more P&P to make it this way), but never came. Can't say I'm surprised its late, since this happens far too often.

Their online tracking service is also a joke. For 48h all it has been saying is "It's on its way"...thanks for stating the obvious Royal Mail. Fail.

  • @LordGaemma

    Catapult, hehe :D

  • Fresh news of a Christmas strike threat. RIP Royal Mail. Let's hope you're at least sold off by the Gov and privatized so I can keep visiting my main post office in the area.

  • The first thing that will happen if Royal Mail goes private is the stamp prices will go through the roof. The main objective would be to satisfy the shareholders not the general public, and would probably end up like all the other privatised industries........a complete shambles!

  • Finally someone with some sense, what jane and joe public fail to realise is that when Royal mail is gone there won't be a universal service. For the idiots on here that means fixed price on the stamp regardless of where it's going in the UK. With TNT or DHL it will be priced on distance as well as size/weight. Live out in the sticks? Fuck you come collect your mail because TNT or DHL won't deliver letters to you out there. You'll be crying and moaning when Royal Mail is gone.

  • royal mail workers are the best

  • ex british convicts aaronpimpleface thats why australia is great

  • wow pimpleface your so smart 2 figure that one out. you should get a job with any britsh government agency. yeah your just there type. !

  • If you did the job you're paid to instead of striking and behaving like kids as videos on YouTube show, the overtime issue wouldn't be such an issue you idiot!!!!!

  • Stop victimising the public get back to work we want our post, your dispute is with your bosses NOT the public. In the current recession you should be greatful you've got jobs!!!! You don't want to modernise, but you want modern wages. Idiots!!!!!!

  • You idiot !! you need to gather up your facts more all you know is what you hear on the News , The public aint gonna get their mail everyday never mind the strikes royal mail wont pay the over time to finnish the job ! And i sure aint gonna deliver mail in my own time ...

  • haha .. The British people killing the British post lol

  • Go back to work you lazy bastards

  • @ Go do the job, you lazy thick, judgemental dunce. You're probably on the dole anyway.

  • well fucking leave then!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Too all you royal mail haters ,you should all be hung for treason, this is the queens mail and is a public service and should always stay that way. All you british people should be ashamed of yourselves and if you don't like the strikes bugger off and get out of this country you yellow fuckers.

  • we pay are taxes for the fucking post not to mention postage stamp so they should do their fucking jobs

  • I know some of the British public are pissed off with us, it's human nature. But if you think it's about anything other than senior members of the labour administration & the Royal Mail executive deliberately running down the service so they can force privatisation, you're sadly mistaken. We are fighting to save the last bit of "common wealth" from being sold off. 36p will get you from John o Groats to Lands End in less than 24 hrs. Under a private company that wo'nt get you to the next street.

  • Yeah right, I have been waiting more than a week to get a letter from manchester to london.

  • this country is fucking hopeless no wonder its broke

  • Amen brother.

  • too right we are a stupid fucking poor country we shoudl all migrate to america! :'-(

  • too right if you dont like it i wish you would just fuck off tough guy

  • i wonder what mo does for a job then he'd never cope with a job like a postie its for tough guys not pussies like mo.

  • die bnp scum

  • fuck america, try australia;-) smart them ol convicts eh brov?

  • I've lost count of the people that have come to my office expecting a toss off & lasted less than a week. Yes, there are worst jobs than being a postie. I worked in an abbatoir for 10 years before I was a postman. It was harder work, and the money was shit. The real issue for me is, being given the necessary equipment to do the job. Not having to use my own car & getting nothing towards it, not being asked to perform a full-time job for 29 hours pay, my stolen pension returned.

  • No you didn't but you prolly would have said some bs along those linea. Max weight of our bags is 16kg then they are supposed to slide down from that with bag 3 onwards. M8 you don't do my job so you can't say it isn't taxing we're not even striking cos our jobs hard. I just resent wankers like you making uninformed comments about a job you know fuck all about. People like you think we walk around with one pouch all day that has a handful of letters in. Do my job for a few weeks then comment.

  • Not any heavier than mail pouch and we have to cart these them on our back. There's laws btw to protect employees when it comes to lifting so don't come back with some BS comment about how you was lifting 50kg boxes for 12 hours a day. You ride your bike to work? Bravo, so do I. I also ride a bike as part of my job. A typical day at work is 8 hours but it often goes over and ends up being longer by the end of the week due to the volume of mail.

  • 4 hours delivery and 3 hours to prep and sort the mail and another hour to travel back and forth to the office on my bike. Makes 8 hours. Like I said try doing the job before passing judgement. We get new people all the time and the leave cos they can't hack it.

  • im not a moaning lazy postman u prick as i go to work & don t strike lol

  • You said it brother!

Half the cunts out there would have a fucking nose bleed if they had to do a postmans job.

  • lazy striking brain dead fookers

    there a war on!

u do a job a mongol could do

when u do get back to work u lazy pissed up fookers hope u get your fingers bitten off by a dog lol

  • Your a fucking retard. Try doing the job before passing judgement. Getting up a stupid o'clock every day then carting pouches of mail round for 4 hours a day in the pissing wind and rain only for cunts like you to moan that "we're late" cos it's half 10 and you want your giro so you can buy some more fags an cider then get back to watching daytime tv.

  • @Longs81 Maybe if you did a half decent job of it isntead of stealing it then we wouldnt have you.

God your not exactly intelligent are you?

Mind you who works for RM who has brains?

I mean come on be intelligent about this, the past 100 deliveries I have had of stuff coming through have had annoyed looks on their faces, thats why I always send my clients CDs through UPS not your fucking useless cunting lot.

Its a shame really used to have respect for RM, like fuck I do now, can trust you.

  • @andrew8833 Thing is I and many other Posties do do a very good job under very difficult circumstances. You question my intelligence yet your the one struggling to string together a sentence that makes sense or even spell words correctly, maybe you need to go back to school you dumb useless prick.

  • @andrew8833 If Posties were stealing all the time nothing would get delivered fact is 97% of things get delivered the other 3% is nearly all made up of badly addressed/incorrectly items, less than 1% gets stolen. That's a fact that cannot be disputed because it's been confirmed many times by the independent regulator (Postcomm) of all Postal operators like RM, UPS, Fedex etc. No other Postal company offers the high level of quality we offer.

  • @Longs81 Still it doesnt take a degree to do this basic job does it?

I mean come on half of you cant be bothered to even wait for someone to get to the fricking door you dumb twit.

Talk about being lazy, I mean there's far worse jobs in the UK than the basic job you do for fuck sake!

Stop pointing the finger aswell, its always something else someone elses fault, talk about being childish!

Mind you I have seen a 5 year old with more maturity than the likes of you halfwit posties ROFL

  • @andrew8833 I never said it did take a degree to do this job unless you want to be in management but that's a different situation. It does require someone to be clued up and physically fit. Who's pointing the finger and blaming? As far as I can see your the one pointing the finger with baseless accusations either that or your just trolling.

  • @andrew8833 Can't be bothered to wait for someone to answer the door, don't make me laugh. What's easier? Waiting for someone to answer the door so you can get rid of the packet your carrying which makes the pouch lighter or carrying it round for the rest of your delivery? It's not rocket science you retard.

  • Comment removed

  • @Longs81 Well said mate. Truly, Royal Mail customers are mostly lazy, fat thickos.

  • @andrew8833 No-one's forcing you to use Royal Mail you brainless dullard. Why don't you get off your fat arse and go pick up YOUR mail YOURself once in a while? See how spoilt you are.

  • @raspberrybaggio so the whole of the uk are spoilt yea?

  • @andrew8833 Obviously. If it wasn;t for our wonderful, busy postal workers, we would have to deliver all the letters we send ourselves. We would also have to go and pick up all the letters sent to us. It takes me 45 minutes to go pick up my, "Sorry you weren't in, " items. I for one, am very grateful to my helpful , polite postman.

  • @raspberrybaggio Do you actually know how to use that brain of yours?

Fucking docile imbecile, seen that comment you left on that guys channel, your life is shit, if I had to be told how to work I would be insulted mate.

Learn to actually use your brain or fuck off you incompetent fuck, god your life is one big sack of shit yes?

  • @iamyourgod1988 You spell God with a capital G . Who is the imbecile now, dullard? Hahahaha! What a thicko !

  • Why aren`t you a postie then prick.you`re the biggest fucking mongol on here!

  • this is a govt backed industrial relation scam, agreement was made but govt intervined and want us out on strike, they want to crush the union and that fucker mandelson, wants to out torrie the tory party and out do that bitch thatcher and destroy the union!!! he will sell us off to TNT who with no union will pay a higher price, the reason they want to privatise RM is because of years and years of taking the profits and not paying int2the pensions they are in debt2 ENDoF fuckers stand 2getether

  • Royal Mail a time wasters

  • Mandelson, Higson and Crozier should be bloody well ashamed of themselves,

But the Labour Party on the whole should be hanging their heads in shame.

The CWU should compl;etely withdraw their funding NOW.

  • do we even need royalmail these days?

  • What with DHL and UPS and many other companies waiting to pounce on the customers royal mail is going to leave behind when they strike, i would say no, we don't need them! They really have shot themselves in the foot this time.

  • WHo do you think is going to deliver your 38p Christmas card? DHL? UPS?

    Anyone????

  • Charlienmeg, are you a postie? If so, don't get me wrong, i agree with what you're doing as I said before, but when this strike is over you're going to face a massive public backlash. Having said that, watching GMTV this morning, there was a news reporter outside a sorting office who said "the troops in iraq will not be able to receive xmas cards off loved ones." Which I thought was a bit low. It's clear who's side the media are on!

  • Hi Oliver - no, I'm not a postie. I would be the first person to withdraw my support if this was about pay, but it isn't; there's so much more to it but people can't see beyond their noses and their Christmas cards. You are right about the media - they seem intent on building up a hate campaign for some unknown reason. Perhaps if they reported both sides fairly then people would be more understanding.

    (to be continued)

  • However, as you say, they are quite happy to go for the low blows. My reasons for backing the postmen is simple - they are doing a job that other people wouldn't do and so far as I see, the majority of them do it well and with diligence. Now they are being told their livelihoods, their family life, their jobs are all under threat because the PO needs "modernisation" and yet not one postie I've spoken to knows what this "modernisation" is.

    (to be continued)

  • A quick story - our collections postman at work is waiting to have an interview for his own job, or at least another duty. Fair enough you would think - except there's the possibility that his hours might change from 10-6 to possibly 12 til 9 or 1 til 10 - something like that. Problem - his wife works hours around his. If he has to change, his wife will lose her job. A necessary salary gone because of complete disregard by his employers.

    (to be continued)

  • New law: let employees dictate their working hours.

  • Of course! That would make perfect sense. Employ someone, give them a contract to say they will work certain hours and then, at a whim, change those hours regardless of the conssequences.

That would be a great new law. Bring it in now and let's make the whole of the country unemployed.

You obviously don't have a job.

  • I was being sarcastic.

  • OK

Maybe try to make your sarcasm a little clearer.

    Apologies.

  • This is only one of many stories I've heard or read about.

the biggest problem is, as I said before, no-one can see beyond their noses and are far too quick to damn this action without finding out the pertinent facts beforehand.

I care about others and this "screw you" society we live in is sickening to say the least.

The postman have my full, unadulterated backing - and yes, the strike will affect me, but I'll manage and my life certainly won't come to an end because of it.

  • Yes SACK whole postmen and give unemployed a new job as a postman

  • Your compassion obviously knows no bounds, huh?

How can you even for one second think that is an answer?

    Idiot.

  • SACK THEM ALL..

  • Why?

  • Comment removed

  • Yep - and long live the day when it'll cost you £6 minimum to send something in the post.

Do you have any idea who delivers TNT/DHL etc mail at the moment?

I'll give you a clue - it isn't DHL and it isn't TNT. Got it yet?

  • so true, government just want to reduce staff so they can sell another public assets off on the cheap.People will want royal mail back when were stuck with courier company's running the show.

  • (cont) building! So to sum up, yes, i agree with what you're doing, but you're timing is awful.

  • unfortunately, the employees at royal mail couldn't of picked a worst time to strike. Although i completely agree with their reasons for striking, doing it mid-recession is a very bad move. If talks continue and the strike goes ahead which it inevitably will, customer relations will be at an all time low. True, there's never a good time to strike, just look at the fire fighter strike in 2002. This is only Royal Mail, come on!! It's not as if their going to save you from a burning (cont)

  • my comment below is directed at that twat Charlienmeg

  • I do not argee with the strikes i feel the unions are hold the country to ransom.i feel royal mail should be privatised. i feel customers are not getting a good service. i feel it is time for a other company to run the mail service in competition with royal mail and the unions would not be to quick to strike

  • You wouldn't last a day.

  • Not being funny mate but your talking out of your arse

You no nothing about royal mail and if you worked there you would understand what we a fighting for

Concentrate on getting that job am sure you will find one with that attitude

  • RM workers come across like spoilt little babies crying for their mothers tit. My managers too hard on me, oooo I have to work all the hours I'm paid instead of fucking off 3 hours early like I've been doing for years on end.

Welcome to the real world. This country is full of whinging, liberal pussies that wouldn't know hardship if it hit them in the face. The world is full of poor fuckers suffering and you lot want to cry about insignificant shite. BE HAPPY YOU HAVE A JOB.

  • i couldnt have put it better myself mate, well said, you should try sending Ebay parcels through Royal Mail and count how many get nicked .....and to answer Charlienmeg,s question about me joining a union, i have been a member of TGWU for 13 years but industrial action can come in many ways and not to fuck up others people deliveries....hit the company in other ways, i hope they get the sack the useless bastards

  • What a load of absolute bollocks. The TGWU would never allow a company to force you to work the hours you claimed.

And what about the hard working posties, the ones who've been doing the job for 30 or 40 years, paying dilligently into the pension scheme only to be told now that they might not get one.

Stop fucking whinging because you haven't got the balls to do something about it when you get crapped on. These guys deserve a lot more than the usual bloody moan about "my ebay package".

  • we work those hrs because we want to you fucktard....and regarding ebay packages getting nicked,i dont even use the site,Sack all those who strike because the public want there mail and if you are not delivering it then fuck off and get a job in Mcdonalds.....

  • I repeat - bollocks.

You work those hours because you're too scared to say anything. But hey, if you want to be crapped on for your wage then go for it and good luck to you.

Fucktard??? Classy. Did McDonalds turn you down then? Is that why you're so bitter?

  • we work those hrs mate cus we like the money....ITS FUCKING OPTIONAL you dozy twerp...when you have the chance to hit 650 a week go for it....ta ra...enjoy yourself in the dole queue

  • I've absolutely no idea why you would think for one second I'll be in the dole queue. I'm an engineer. I probably earn more in an hour than you do in a week.

Dozy twerp! Did fucktard not do do it for you this time?

Looking forward however to the day your employers tell you to sod off or cut your hours and you come here bleating. Then you'll be crying for union backing.

  • SPOKEN LIKE A ROYAL MAIL MANAGER...

  • You people really haven't got a clue have you.

So I'll ask the question again. If you went in to work tomorrow and were told that your hours were being changed to suit your employers regardless of your home life (maybe wife/husband works or you have children) would you grovel like the windbag you sound like and say "thank you thank you, and can I kiss your feet while I'm down here because you gave me a job".

What the fuck happened to caring about others?

  • slartybardfast11 You're a thick cunt. RM has lost money for 20 years. They made a £355 million profit on a turnover of £9 billion. NINE FUCKING BILLION. That is a TINY profit on such a HUGE turnover.

The union got a sniff of the profit and being the thick cunts that you are you see MILLION and you think your quids in. You haven't got the brain power to understand percentages and realise that it's a TINY profit overall and it's only there in the first place because of the changes

  • hot mamma

  • and as for your silly 8 hours a day,we do 7 till 6(11hrs) thats work for ya mate.....

  • when i was in northern ireland u patroled for three days rotation lucky to get three hrs sleep a night so there

  • Maybe you should join a union.

  • u know fuck all i was in the army for 4 yrs and i have worked harder in royal mail try doing 8 hours work without a break i would give u pussies 1 day workinging royal mail before u jacked it in

  • you thick poor twat mfranney....i work in a foundry, try that for hard work, and its a good job you are not in the Army now with wimps like you we would be a laughing stock....pathetic

  • So when should I get my Christmas cards in the postbox? Posties have a cat's chance in Hell trying to gain overwhelming public support when our Christmas mail is held for ransom.

  • these Royal Mail twats dont deserve a facking rise , they are lazy bastards doing a job that a 7 year old could do better...sack em and get private services in where we could pay for a better service and it would be reliable....fuckin morons

  • u know fuck all

  • They don't give a fuck. They'll believe whatever the union bosses tell them is best because they are obviously incapable of independant thought.

I've got wood just thinking about laughing at all the posties who will get the sack within 12 months because RM's gone to the wall.

Serves them right. Fuck em. Selfish cunts.

  • EviLAnGel2,You fucking brainwashed TWAT.How to form an opinion on something you know nothing about you fuckwit..What was Royal Mail's profit this year..Use another private courier and pay £5.95 a letter ya tosser......

  • so, what do you posties say about the announcement from House of Frazer, John Lewis, Amazon to name a few, who have stated that Royal Mail will lose their business if they strike....

The Unions are killing you and your jobs, you just can't see it.,

  • wheres my 10 packages you slags should have been with me 2 weeks ago

i won't be using them ever again

  • The most amusing part of all this is...Weve got all the selfish "im alright jack" members of the public ,saying if ya dont like it then leave, & we`ve got the "sack the lot of ya" brigade which is fine ....but then ....whos gonna sort & deliver your mail then smartarses. You think we just walk in, pick up a bag, deliver it & go home ? ...yeah its just like that ..easy

  • i don't want or need your support.

  • roal-mail are the only people who are delivering a finale mile i.e your mail. so please tell me who's doing it better?

  • sorry posties, I have every respect for you, but this will drive business away, and then you will only have yourselves to blame when the big job losses come.. and you lose your job. Get back to work, and just remember how lucky you are to have a job in this downturn!

  • As an employee of royal-mail i want the public to know of my concern and outrage the way management are running the service into the ground.Bad management and lack of foresight is destroying this service.Morale in offices up and down the country are at an all time low.Bullying management are forcing employees to work longer hours for the same pay and refusing to pay due overtime. The public and buisness are now getting their mail a lot later because of cost-cutting.We are fighting for our lives.

  • It's probably because Royal Mail are under heavy competition from people doing the job better!

  • in that case chris ,phone up your local sorting office, tell him you dont require any post sent to your address anymore & you can pay extra to courier services instead at that slightly extra cost. Im sure your postie will appreciate having one less house to deliver to.

  • I'd love to but the government makes it difficult by supporting this monstrosity of a monopoly.

  • well you can always seal up your letterbox if u dont want your postman delivering to you ?? Come on, you think someone else can do better , like who then ?

  • A private company with competition?

  • hope you all lose your jobs you wankers

  • find out whats going on before you comment you nut-job welfare boy

  • boo hoo, someones not gonna get his giro.

  • lol

  • i hope that this shit service is closed down for good the royal mail are shit over charge for crap service i now use ups way better and cheaper and they pick up from my door good bye royal mail ur finished

  • Fine , let UPS deliver your mail too .

  • yep, they will start to, if you continue throwing business away.

  • Well for starters ,the likes of UPS,DHL etc havent & couldnt get the infra-structure to deal with door-to-door deliveries etc. This isnt what we use as a striking tool however. Most of us are not these hardline unionists who cant wait ti get up & walk out at the drop of a hat. We just want fair working conditions. You wouldnt understand because youve already made your mind up we`re in the wrong because you personally wont get your mail.

  • then you have to ask yourself, how easy it would be for a multi million pound organisation to start to build that infrastructure. And I think you will find, most of the general public are against this.

You are killing your own industry, and by walking out again, you have ensured that Business sees Royal mail as a risk and will switch, then lot's of you will lose your jobs.. and what did you gain? Nothing...

  • You say the public are against us getting competition ? i wonder why . 1) regardless of how much we get slagged off, theres still not a more efficient service for the price.how many other countries recieve a saturday delivery ? 0 .You forget, postmen are also dependent on mail too. We just wont stand by and be made idiots out of.

  • these derogatory comments are beyond belief by idiots who have no idea wjat is involved in the postal industry

  • Instead of wasting time why don't you work-shy jokers actually get on with your jobs?

  • Hard to believe with the pathetic way they conduct themselves they are actually striking for better pay and working conditions... they hardly deserve it.

Also Pete707, we founded America until we gave you your independence so don't start calling people from England primitive.

  • Dementified...I didn't call anyone primitive.

  • You have clearly never been a postie... never comment like that if you have no idea what sort of physical strain a job envolves. I bet you have an office job.. sitting in a nice cumfy chair all day. You wouldnt last an hour on a walk.

  • nighmareworld, what a stupid statement, you chose the job! no one else, you are there to serve the public, and are VERY lucky to have a job! especially at this time!

I am one of the those people to hit sit down for my job, I would never state i have the hardest job in the world. So, who cares about the in's and out's of your job! it's all about choice, just like business has, and they will abandon you, then you will lose your jobs, this time you will have very little public support!

  • posties are lucky to have a job -lol-the only ppl lucky are the ppl on the dole -laying in bed all day getting money for nothing -we got to get up at 5am and work a 8 hour day -no luck there love

  • sorry, are you stupid? why would you even bring in the example of people on dole... shows how lacking your reasoning is.

5am? well I am up at 4, and work a 12 hour shift for the emergency services. So, the getting up early thing doesn't wash!

So, you have a job, it pays better than the dole, and you are quite prepared to turn the public against you... Yeah, well thought out.

  • well i assume your on a 4 day week then ? wish i was on a 4 day wk too.any jobs going at your place ?

  • Yes, there are jobs going at my place... but watch out, you will have to be up at 4 o'clock to get into work, and work a constant 12 hour shift, in a fast paced skilled environment .. and on some of the shifts you will be working until 6 in the morning... not so cushdy now eh.

Oh, and if your unhappy in your job (as you referred to me) then get a backbone and get another one - let someone who is out of work who will appreciate your job have it.

  • ooops ,forgot to tell me how many days a week you work. nevermind

  • you already guessed, so I didn't know I had to point it out...

4on 4off - 12 long hours, FULL nights up even earlier than you, stressful working environment for a full 12 hour stint, tiredness on your first day off as you have finished 0600..

MMM, see I wonder who has the harder or more skilled job.

  • so a 4 day week ,4 days off and you already know you work harder than us ? proper little martyr arent we. All the answers too.Your clearly in the wrong job.You should be Prime minister.

  • You know, I think your right.

I would kerb the Unions, and bring in real competition to the British postal service. I would encourage the Postal Service Management to sack those engaged in damaging large and small businesses or those members relying on the postal service, like for example the elderly and disabled.

    So, here, we agree Mufcdarren.

  • All of us for years have been threatened with monopolies & being sold to private companies, well now its got so bad that we might as well be.Least the company might be run better. We are a public company ,not run so that board members can hand each other crazy bonus`s. The reason it got this bad was because no money was put bk into the company in the 80s. Now royal mail are doing it again. Paying off Leighton, crazy million £ bonuses to crozier while the company suffers.

  • You are quite correct with everything you say above.

and actually mate, I wish you well through all of this, I just hope you all understand what the consequences could be.

  • most of us would understand the consequences by now.Ok maybe not some of the younger newcomers to the job, but ive been in the job long enough.Since the last strikes a few yrs bk, royal mail have continually broke every agreement backed by the govt. Its now an unworkable practice that cant remain if the company wants to continue working. Strangely enough gordon brown once again has been very quiet.Must be al them meetings with X factor entrants.

  • So, you have a job, it pays better than the dole, just better -lets see what they get for laying in bed all day---lets see--rent paid for them--£600pm-council tax paid-£100pm-shopping money about lets say £240pm total£940pm- and then theres healthcare-dental-well i get £1120pm-whos got the luck there-dont put me down bitch-i work for my money -but royal are treating us like slaves -unless you work for r-mail shut ur mouth up

  • Hilarious and childish and a little pointless, so well done.

Why are you talking about the dole? what has got to do with strike? other than the fact that many of you will be joining the dole, if you lose big business. And, if making stupid points about those on the dole, is your only defence, then what can I say, except I pity you.

And, I am a customer of Royal Main, so I will tell you how it is, whether you like it or not.

You have sealed Royal Mails fate.. so well done.

  • im talking about dole ppl--bcos im pissed off with ppl like you saying we are lucky to have a job -so im telling you theres ppl more luck than us for doing nothing -ok-and why are you always pissing and moaning about your job --4on 4off - 12 long hours, FULL nights up even earlier than you, stressful working environment for a full 12 hour stint, tiredness on your first day off as you have finished 0600.. ppor you --think yourself luck you got a job --keep pissing and moaning -

  • LOL, bless, you can't even keep up with the thread, as I wasn't moaning about my job, go on, have a look back, did you forget about the bit where I said I loved my job, and it was in response to someone else.. Keep up, there's a good chap.

And, if you don' t like your job or the money, then like everyone else, you have a choice, as long as you have the get up and go to do it.

So, unless you want to join the dole queue, I suggest you do your job and stop whining like a child.

  • And where did i say i did'nt like my job-i like my job but we are not being treated fair-you would'nt know that b'cos your not working there-so dont comment on what you dont know. strike actions needed here and we got it -end of
