What Senna lovers do not understand is that , you don't need to be so fast , like he was , to be a champion ; what Prost and Schumacher did, was to comunicate to their engineers what had to be done, so the car could be better! That's why, they always drove the best cars and Senna wasn't as good as those two doing that! I think Schummi did take the hamster to school there. Back in the day, those were normal defending moves, pushing the boundaries, crossing the line a little, not enough to warrant a penalty, but defending well.
If anything, Ron Dennis might want a word with Mercedes for that one. The fact Schummi could hold hamster off on the straights with DRS and KERS was a little strange.

The majority of races this season Schumi has owned Rosberg in race performance, Too make it worse for Schumi he has had many more retirements this season compared to Rosberg which is the only reason he finished ahead of Schumacher in the championship at the end.

it was just a fault by the team. You see that he's in the slipstream and don't get any closer. The mercedes were driving with more or less no wing at all and the mclarens with a hell lot of it.. so, the straight linespeed was just horrible from the mclarens... nothing to get for Hamilton...

Actually the overtaking rules are the same as they were in the 90ies already. You can defend one side you can't pull to the other though. As much as I don't like Schumacher, he did not break this rule at any point, Hamilton was unable to overtake since both cars were litterally as fast.

The majority of races this season Schumi has owned Rosberg in race performance, Too make it worse for Schumi he has had many more retirements this season compared to Rosberg which is the only reason he finished ahead of Schumacher in the championship at the end.

schumacher always had the car underneath to win world championships, also he had unlimited testing which means he could practice as much as he likes at the ferrari test track. dont forget that schumacher had illegal electronic aids in his benneton before ferrari. montoya in a williams still gave schumacher a run for his money when the williams was not a brilliant car.

@beyblader10171 well when HE DID overtake Schumi on the straights Hamilton who claimed a few years back not to ever be overtaken on his outside got schooled by schumi on his outside on the run to the second chicane. I don't care what gear ratio's were on the two cars. Fact is that Hamilton was in a car 6 tenths faster than the mercedes per lap and he could not get the job done with Schumi defending his position like its meant to be done.

it was just a fault by the team. You see that he's in the slipstream and don't get any closer. The mercedes were driving with more or less no wing at all and the mclarens with a hell lot of it.. so, the straight linespeed was just horrible from the mclarens... nothing to get for Hamilton...

Actually the overtaking rules are the same as they were in the 90ies already. You can defend one side you can't pull to the other though. As much as I don't like Schumacher, he did not break this rule at any point, Hamilton was unable to overtake since both cars were litterally as fast.

The funny thing is when you watch F1 from back in the days, Schumi would NEVER had change direction twice, he did it once, then he couldn't protect his place anymore. Tough luck, same rules for everyone. I like and respect Schumi but the fact that FIA let him go for this is bad.

Nico had the upper hand on Michael for the first half of last year but since then they've been pretty even, and Michael's been a fair bit better than Nico this year. The only reason Nico is ahead this year is because Michael had a lot more retirements due to car failure and mad Russians ramming him off the road. Despite all that he's still only 5 points behind...

If the drivers tried to go at full pace right at the start they'd lose their tires a lot quicker and either start posting really slow laps or crash (monaco 1988). Both were amazing drivers, senna was quicker, schumacher was the better all around driver in some people's opinion

Eventually, if hamilton don't talked to your team to demand an punishment from stewards, and Brawn hadn't accepted it as an real threat, probably hamilton could be behind Schumi's Mercedes till now.
