6,000 of these views are from me hahaha ;D I love this video! Jason Isaacs should be rewarded more for how much passion he puts into his characters <3 lovelyyyy :)
An amazing video! Jason Isaacs really is one of my favorite actors. Could you please tell me the name of the song you used?? I'd really appreciate it!
Such a touching tribute, I was near tears halfway through it. Jason is a brilliant actor and he put so much depth into this character. I will need to do research on Tarleton though, to see how he compares to Tavington. Keep making videos, I'd love to see more!
I am glad you enjoyed this. Jason is my favorite actor, and I love this film very much. As to Tarleton, he was much younger, but did many of the things in the war, such as killing captives.
Thanks. I felt that sadness in Jason's acting of the role. I am not sure the real Tarleton had such depth. Still hold good, I think. I like to make a Tavington tribute every once in awhile.
From what I understand, it's not supposed to be the same guy. They just gave Tavington some similarities with the Tarleton person. Tavington is a fictional charachter.
@muffindude14 Yes, loosely based on Tarleton, who was a much younger man that our Tav. Tarleton's mistress back in England later was Mrs. Robinson, who was the best woman poet and writer in GB and had been mistress of the Crown Prince.
I think she was the mistrees of the PW before she was with Ban Tarleton. He was a member, I believe of the house of Lords, or maybe commons, but I think not. His mother had bought him a place because his father lost his own fortune at gambling and drinking!
Liverpool, I believe he was from! A very interesting real man, Ban Tarleton, the lover of the beautiful Mrs. Robinson, the most beautiful actress and poet in England! Very interesting.
None of my comments seem to be posting. I had commented on your last few videos and my comments aren't there! Darn You Tube! Anyway, again I'll say: very nice job. I agree with the LadyCath...the Colonel was wounded by some personal tragedy.
The Tube tries to do too much! They have really f----- my things up! Forced me to abandon my own real name, and today i cannot send videos and notes to my e-mail list! Yet they will not reply to my HELP call! They suck! I appreciate your comments very much.
Thank your for commenting. I think that Jason was able to understand the personal tragedy inside the wounded Colonel! I meant the wounded for all of the Colonel's life, not just that gunshot!
How could you forget that face, that killer look? I am teasing. He is wonderful in The Patriot. I first watched it because I was a Mel fan, and forgot to look at him, just saw the wonderful Colonel!

This is so lovely! Thank you for creating this! There is often some personal tragedy behind the ruthlessness, I guess..
