This is what i don't like from the Tilke circuits:the low or almost nonexistent margin of error. The only thing that makes these tracks along with the FIA is to promote errant and unprofessional drivers. In this video we have great examples:1:41,2:27,3:24,4:06,5:02 and 5:09.I think all these driving errors should be penalized, not the FIA itself, but by the same circuit.I don't say run-off areas become smaller, but simply the same are of leca. The classic runoff areas who lived the best time of F1
i agree with the general sentiments here, this is racing, its fast, its dangerous, its exciting, its unpredictable, its close, its not decided in qualifying, more than 4 people have a chance of ever winning, its not a procession, its not too controlled, its not predictable. Here's hoping that F1 is watchable by being a tenth as exciting as this next season
@guitarmanp I wouldn't say Gutierrez is. Still to early too say as only 3 drivers have contracts yet, but if we see the same lineup as this weekend I would say Ericsson, Leimer, Razia, Clos and Gutierrez will fight for the win, with Coletti just behind the leaders. Then u never know which ones of the rookies that will do a good job.
04:04 WTF? This happens when you build tracks like this. I think it's just not proper racing anymore, if you can go straight without bad consequences, inspite of turning into the corner clearly....
The F1 is now an anti-climax of the racing weekend. GP2 is a class act now! To be honest, I prefer the GP2 for the better racing and tension. Heck, even NASCAR is just about as exciting as F1.
F1 needs to change some rules, or visit some new tracks to my attention now!
It's just me or Ceccon cutted the chicane on last lap? from 3:50 to 4:15
He's fighting with Rossi, he's on the outside, cuts the chicane and passes Rossi and Gutierrez. Then he gives the position back to Gutierrez, but not to Rossi. Alex deserved 6th...
