I am not too happy about that - so many people buy iguanas, because they are so cheap. Sadly, they forget that iguanas also need expensive terrariums and care :( It takes a lot of time, patience and knowledge to take care of iguana properly.

We bought our iguana 4 years ago and we have read really a lot of literature, but still were not prepared enough - and now we are building the third terrarium, because the first one was not adequate for him and the second one will be too small soon. And then I see vids on YT, where people keep iguanas in small terrariums without heatlamps and the newspapers on the floor ...
