Well actually, they really did a few different ending scenes, but kate wasn't part of them. It was of course Locke but they had one with Sawyer and another one with Desmond! This is not a fake. Terry O' Quinn said in an interview that the producers put other characters in the coffin so that if any clips got leaked, no one would know who was supposed to die. They put Desmond in one shot, too. Not even the actors were supposed to know who died.

Me too -Love movies , its funny i was thinkin about that today - that they could never make a lost movie cuz it could never measure up to the show no matter how many twist you put in it. i mean it could be cool say a couple years after season 6 ends to see all these characters whose lives we've learned and gotten to no and love but it wouldn't measure up. anyway can you think of a movie that comes anywhere close in terms of drawing out emotions and wow moments like Lost-- just curious
