I watched this a few years ago and I absolutely despised it.

The ending of this movie was superb. Needless to say, that in  few words Vanessa Redgrave gave an amazing twist to this movie.

0.27 when Robbie spins on his chair, is a small but cute detail i hoped would come in the movie. I waited for it to come after i seen this trailer, but obviously it never came :( Same thing with the scene where he picked up one of the dead girls...

I can't wait to see this movie. Have just finished reading the book, and it is really good. Only just seen the trailer now and it looks like they've done a good job adapting it. One thing I must say, where movies trump books, is the score. Music just brings so much more to the experience.

when keira whispers 'come back to me' it reminds me of nicole kidman saying that to jude law in cold mountain when he goes away to war. It kind of killed the emotional part because i kept thinking of keira with a southern accent lol

If you haven't read the book- get it. It is one of my favorites. Atonement by Ian McEwan. It is a story that you will enjoy reading more than once.

i applied to be an extra in this film and you can see that there is very clever editing of the beach scenes which really des make it look authentic! It was filmed in sunny redcar, my home town! and it makes me feel proud to come from redcar for once!
