I had the misfortune of turning on Real-time at the beginning when i first played, and i was on hard(because I want to see how hard the game REALLY was), i ACTUALLY got past the first mission... with my main character only though...
i love the bos drill sargent although he sounds almost the same as the guy from camp navarro (same military thoughness but a little more suiccidal)...great lp man and one of my favorite game (never finished it though i got stuck at vault 00 mission)...
Wow, that intro was long, boring and a great example how not to make an intro. Gee. Superb game, lousy intro.
Hey, isn't General Barnaby voiced by Ronald Lee Ermey? The most famous Gunny of them all. Game gets additional cool points for having him in it.
I played this game on a friend's computer, so only got to do the first couple of maps, but this start one I remember most fondest of all. Totally agree with Mal, the true strength of the game is in its mission design. Often challenging, but fair
@TheMindfiend You know, I really agree with you on the intro....the first part is unnecessary...and the second part...is mediocre....But, voice by Ronald Lee Ermey makes any military scene believeable :D
Thats cool you got some experience with this game, maybe you can help me not die and send my troops into bullet storms.
I love the fallout universe, has very much a feel of its own, especially with some of the humour throughout. I look forward to see how you do with this. I can't remember if you could rename your squad members or not.
Actually, there is a tactical reason to use real time sometimes. I found it highly useful to set up ambushes where 4 or 5 squad members are set up to the side of a corridor on aggressive holding automatic weapons, and the last party member runs into a hostile group and then away, and the enemy chasing gets automatically fired on by the squad. Highly effective due to the quantity of fire coming all from the same direction at the same time.
@Malkom1366 Real Time is good for going faster and if you have a team of all long-range folks who can shoot the enemy before they see you...but other options such as melee, sneaking, and grenade throwing are terrible in real time.
This looks like it is going to be awesome! If there are going to be lots of voice overs, do you think you could adjust the sound levels? There is a really big difference between your commentary and the voice overs, so I need to adjust my volume a lot while watching this...

@Malkasphia Help you not die? Er no. With my experience of the game I can only offer help if you want to die. A lot. :)

@TheDjayleno Sorry DJ. I am recording all of this through my headset from my speakers...I will try to turn up the volume during voice overs though.
