  • pma is from missouri wind and solar it has seven magnets 12 volt not sure of model

had it for such along time now. i have played around with stator coils just out of interest

but i still use the stator it came with it works much the same.

  • yes been taking a pounding but system doing well. sorted out my charge controller. need to drop tower over weekend but will drop you a line next week and come and have a look

  • @ian57812 What type of PMA and stator are you using??

  • Hi Ian, just wondering how the turbine is holding up today? I'm on the other side of mountain from you and would love to see your set up and get some info

  • @ian57812 ah yes, he let the cat out of the bag. mrscience so thats how its done for stevie and windy. Good heads up ian_Billy

  • amen to that billy, i think thats what you call shooting your self in the foot. or in mrsciences case in the mouth. what do they say on mythbusters "case closed"

  • I did notice that you do have a 100 amp meter with the proper shunt bat. MrSciencePHD (windy nation) tried to say your meter and shunt did not match, they never quit.

I find your turbine mount really nice, well built. You can get alot of amps out of a properly installed wind turbine.

  • ian, this guy mrscience is a heap of poo and I noticed that he called you son. That means he's getting impatient with you. Your not to show good all the time. But I'm so impressed with the power and how nice of a place you have. But the whole thing with micro windmill's is like you said "have to fine the right combination to get it right"! Real good video_Billy

  • Hey Ian

Block MrSciencePHD. He's no teacher or professor, it's windy nation, fearless's buddies.

Nice readings. You know i never said i built the controller you have, we have some items built by other companies and they put our name on it, it's not uncommon at all for any company to do that.

    Jeff

  • nice video and wow that is some nice amp readings great job.

  • Great setup . I thought you's guys across the pond used KPH to measure wind speed . If you're getting a hundred amps at 20 MPH aren't you risking frying that 100 A meter with a 60 mph gust. I heat my place with a similar stove . I live in the Boreal Forest which is solid forest for hundreds of miles. I don't see any trees there in your neighbourhood . Where do you get your fire wood ? Or what do you burn in that stove ?
