use 12 guage strings the top 2 strings are both 70 guage bass strings. 5th is tuned to drop A and the 6th is tuned to "z".. (flapping) "bomb tuning"

They tune in a modified standard tuning (Aadgbe) and when in bomb tuning it's (ZAadf#b) where the Z is just tuned to flub.
