Ok, Now that all y'all Super Bowl predictions are in some of y'all were right, some were wrong, but here's my analysis of the games this past weekend. I know i'm going to take some heat from this but, i'm going to tell it like it is: First off, NY Giants, and the NE Patriots were NOT supposed to be in the Superbowl. They were beat, but due to MISTAKES from the other teams, they sneaked their way in there and won their games. The hooked field goal, The fumbled punt return by the rookie. . .Fluke.

The 49'ers didn't lose on a fluke, they lost on a Lawrence Tynes Field Goal. And Jaquain Williams stripped it beautifully. Maybe if that team converted a fucking 3rd down at any point in the game they might be in this discussion.

No, that's Tom Landry; Nick Nolte did play a character based on a Dallas WR named Peter Gent, who played under Landry in the '60s-70s. The character's name was Phil Elliot, who was a WR for a team based on the Cowboys called the "North Dallas Bulls" and the movie was called "North Dallas Forty". Peter Gent wrote the novel in 1973 and it was released as a film in 1979. The book is absolutely a work of art, as are most of the novels by Gent; if you haven't read them, you should.
