a 1.8 might be able to do around 600bhp if you do a LOT of tuning, but a normal person would have needed to work over 20 years before that person would have had enough money to afford the all the parts needed

U cannot cut springs as the shape on the end is different + if u make them so that they r not in compression when wheels or off floor then the spring can disslodge and jam in the wheel.

especially up front, its a death trap!!!

unless u have dislocation cones or the spring has one end in a deep cup.

If u get pulled over and the police have a look they can seize the car, and if its that low they probably will.

do it properly, get coil overs.

Why did you put 1000bhp? a stock vectra 1.8 is about 115hp K&N will add around 3hp and the exhaust (if it's straight through stock headers and mid pipe) will put 2hp so at the crank/flywheel it will be 120hp soo at the wheel your looking at 105whp NOT!!! 1000hp

I've read it now, all the comments,, you are hilarious dude, you dropped the merlin into the FWD vectra, yeah, using only modded mounts and a downpipe, first off, you'd need 2, its 2 bank, second, the driveshaft is too high, third, it doesn't have a gearbox, fourth, you'd have to massively modify the interior to allow for a propshaft going through it, you would also need a driving axle/diff at the back, some sort of centrifugal clutch system, you know what your so obviously having a grin, idiot.

Its a 36 ltr v12 out of a spitfire now as Ive just upgraded from the 1.8. Not much diffrence in it really, abit more top end pull in the v12 but 0-60 the 1.8 would be quicker. Im after setting a new land speed record though so 0-60 doesnt matter.
