3. if not.... try to see if the hard disk is well connected to the mother board..
4. if not try using ur recovery disk.. and use restore point..
either way..reply if something work.. from there .. there are other steps to follow.... the last option is formatting ur hard drive .. which i wouldn't do it if u have important files..but last safe option :P

Didn't the error say that if it persisted call HP tech support? why not try calling them up

what ill do is
1. try to get into safe mode ... ..
2. if not.. try resetting ur bios to default
3. if not.... try to see if the hard disk is well connected to the mother board..
