@Rodolfsk8 No, not entirely. The built in noise cancelling app only works with the included headphhones, but if you just want to listen to anything without that function you can use any 3.5mm headphones.
Well I am seriously considering this, or the P3. What I like about this is that it looks qiucker and cleaner (UI wise) then the P3 most importantly. Plus, it has better sound (so many says) and it has WIFI. I've always wanted to have a PMP with WIFI. But idk if the extra $100 is worth it.
The browser supports Flash correct? What other notible features does the web browser have?
@Shorty15c4007 Hi. i would not buy this because of the browser. it only works fine with mobile web (WAP) pages, and to type an email on the clumsy keyboard is a nightmare. it can not download anything from the internet (not even mp3, jpg)
So basically the browser has no use. But you can use the wifi to stream youtube videos which is fun and works fine.
But if you want something that plays good quality music and you can use it to browse the web, buy a symbian smartphone :)
Thats a shame, it does look fantastic. I really like the hold and dedicated play buttons. I was also considering the Zune HD. IDK, how do you think this stacks up against the Zune HD?
Well, Im only going to use it for google searches and light facebooking. Im sure the facebooking part is going to be harder from what you say the keyboard, but nice to kill time lol. The only thing I dont like is that you cant custimize the menu like you would on a iriver clix (my previous mp3 player), but still, I am going to get this player ^_^
The battery discharges because it has to keep power to the... sort of bios, so that it remebers dates and the settings, when the battery dies obviously will need set the settings again.
Have you tried just plugging the player in, and dragging the files into "Videos" folder on the device? If that doesn't work, try converting the video down to 1000kbps and to the screen resolution. There ought to be an app on the supplied CD for conversion.
@Theonlymac001 I just purchased an X-Series player and it does come with an application that will convert videos and load them on the player: Content Transfer. It's a pretty simple process: start Content Transfer, connect the player to your computer, and drag-and-drop the video(s) into the window. It can take a few minutes to convert a video, but the process is basically automatic after you drop the video into the window.
can you get apps?

Is it true that the only headphones that work with this device are the ones included, so if something happens to them you are screwed?
