I don't see why everyone says the Kinect doesn't work.

It works absolutely fine and is fantastic with picking up your movements and such. Voice Recognition isn't that great if you're in a really loud room, but otherwise it works fine.

And to disprove your other point, it does have plenty of related features, such as projection and tracking. Something which webcams don't do. So Kinect copied the PSEye(toy).
