I agree. I bought this and for awhile it works, but then hours later it flakes HORRIBLY. I've realized after all my mascara search for getting long, full lashes, they don't give me what I want. It's actually easier/less work to just put on falsies and use an okay mascara that doesn't clump and just lengthens to blend in with the falsies. :)
try l'oreal voluminous waterproof mascara. it's cheap ($5.99 or depending on where you get it) and it WORKS!!! I swear I have tried every mascara out there and I always come back to this mascara. It lengthens and volumizes without clumping! Yay :) I hope this helps.

i'm having a bit of trouble finding a good mascara. my current mascara is covergirl's volume exact. but when i curl my eyelashes and then use the mascara, my eyelashes go back to its normal straight-not curled self. what is a good drugstore brand that wont do this?
i had the same problem but if you use those metal eye lash curlers, you can heat up the curler with a blow dryer, but don't put it too close to the metal, then cool it down abit so you wont burn yourself but also make sure its still warm and curl your lashes and it will keep ur eyes lashes curl for quite awhile
i've heard that waterproof mascara has thicker waxes in it that hold a curl better. i don't know about specific brands but i would try a waterproof formula.

I've been using something called fast lash for about 3 years now its basically the exact same thing and I've found out that it works better the quicker you get the fibers on after you applied the mascara (ie when the mascara is still wet)

Did I miss it or did you not mention the name of the mascara? Anyway, I have thick lashes with some natural curl and some length, but I LOVE adding extra length. I also use Imju's Fiberwig - the only mascara that my oily lids don't undo, including waterproof ones. And it really does look like false lashes (coming from a former faux lashes addict)! I was wondering what the combo of Fiberwib + Magic Lash would do.

the thing is you really do have to read the intructions. it works nicely, i dont really use it on my top lashes since they are already out there. i agree thats its great for a bottom lash enhancer, i barely had to put on any eyeliner!!

Put a very little bit on at a time. Tap a good amount of it off. It takes a while to get the hang of it. Remember I had mine for three weeks :)before I did an actual video
Magic lash seems a lot like the two step mascara's I've already used (though those are latex coatings usually not sure about magic lash) and it does make a big dif I see but you should roll the mascara wand as you bring it down your lashes to get the right effect with that mascara wand.
This is natural fibers, not latex coating. It works with your mascara so that you can enhance
your lashes with it. You can apply to just the tips if you like instead of using as much as pursebuzz does. You just create what you want to see! Its totally awesome and a must have for this season of smoky eyes, and amazing eyes.
if you have them open during the application and if you are not careful. If you put it on while your eyes are closed it works great. I like to put on a little at a time, i think that works best:)
Have you tried "Fiber Wig" mascara? Its basically the same concept, except that its built into the mascara. Two coats and it's like paint on falsies. Worth a try! I love it.

Heya PB :D i noticed that you "stroke" your lashes with the mascarawand instead of "zigzagging". Is that something you prefer to do or does zigzaggin no good for you? Cause i found it helpfull to zigzag a bit so that it clumbs less. And i also use a little lashcomb before i apply my mascara ( and sometimes also after). For me thats the best way to avoid clumbs. Btw i use Masterpiece mascara by Max Factor (works for me though, but like u said hair is different with everyone) Bye bye Peace :)

I haven' tried it. Doesn't sound appealing :( There are different lashes on everyone. Just like hair on your head will react differently to shampoos and styling products, your lashes will react different to mascaras.

Being asian myself, i know what you mean when our lashes are lacking in both length and volume. What I found out was using Dejavu Fiberwig mascara totally lengthens your lashes and then several coats of your favorite mascara is enough to create more volume. I find that this is less clumpy, yet just as dramatic as magic lash :)
Honetly, I think the eye with just the mascara looks better, less clumpy. Certainly you can SEE the mascara more on the Magic Lash eye, but the mascara only eye looks cleaner, neater. I'd save the money. Also, how would the Magic Lash be for contact wearers? I can see those fibers getting caught in your contacts, especially over time. Maybe even causing a scratch.

There is one mascara at the moment that took Japan by storm and sold millions; it is called fiberwig (they call it the revolutionary japanese mascara with fibres) I wonder if you should approach the company that makes it and tell them that you are interested to make a review and see if they send you one so that you can show us. Oh, I heard mixed reviews as well... but my eyes are very sensitive and I read that you can easily remove the fiberwig with warm water, instead of scrubbing my eyes, LOL... so I was interested...:)
Great review. I had a very similar product years ago made by Talika, and also heard that another brand named Jica makes it, they call them eyelash extneder, and in their case they are black and made of rayon fibres. I believe there are a couple of Japanese companies out there that makes them and their fibres are made of silk.

it works better if you use a lash comb to comb out the excess fibers in your lashes. It helps with the flaking for me *shrug

I saw it advertised in the back of a Cosmopolitan magazine. I'd try it myself but its $95 and I just don't have that kind of money for a tube of mascara..

Heya PB :D i noticed that you "stroke" your lashes with the mascarawand instead of "zigzagging". Is that something you prefer to do or does zigzaggin no good for you? Cause i found it helpfull to zigzag a bit so that it clumbs less. And i also use a little lashcomb before i apply my mascara ( and sometimes also after). For me thats the best way to avoid clumbs. Btw i use Masterpiece mascara by Max Factor (works for me though, but like u said hair is different with everyone) Bye bye Peace :)

I zig zag,twirl and dab just depending on how I feel. But for this one I wanted to show you a "typical mascara routine" I can't live with out a lash comb :) Have a great one!

have you ever used the Max Factor Volume Couture mascara? I have it, but it clumps so horribly all over, I see it on other ppl and its fantastic, just wondering if you knew anything about it

I haven' tried it. Doesn't sound appealing :( There are different lashes on everyone. Just like hair on your head will react differently to shampoos and styling products, your lashes will react different to mascaras.

A good trick is to close your eye, and apply some mascara while it's closed so you get the tippy-top of your lashes. :) great vid!

if you need to do yout lashes longer you have to put the white thing on the ends of you lashes and let it dry

OH absolutely brilliant. Im so glad i subscribed. Im only 12 and ive spent probably two years trying to find a good mascara. My mums a makeup artist and she had a brilliant one like this but wouldnt let me have one cos theyre expensive. Ill have to beg my dad :D oh and happy new year!

It's not mascara. It will work with your mascara. Should work though about 3-4 mascara tubes

no I use something called Jolel they sell it at target and walmart. In a small blue green box :)
I leave it in for 4 min and voila !

Being asian myself, i know what you mean when our lashes are lacking in both length and volume. What I found out was using Dejavu Fiberwig mascara totally lengthens your lashes and then several coats of your favorite mascara is enough to create more volume. I find that this is less clumpy, yet just as dramatic as magic lash :)

Honetly, I think the eye with just the mascara looks better, less clumpy. Certainly you can SEE the mascara more on the Magic Lash eye, but the mascara only eye looks cleaner, neater. I'd save the money. Also, how would the Magic Lash be for contact wearers? I can see those fibers getting caught in your contacts, especially over time. Maybe even causing a scratch.

There is one mascara at the moment that took Japan by storm and sold millions; it is called fiberwig (they call it the revolutionary japanese mascara with fibres) I wonder if you should approach the company that makes it and tell them that you are interested to make a review and see if they send you one so that you can show us. It would be really great...

Oh, I heard mixed reviews as well... but my eyes are very sensitive and I read that you can easily remove the fiberwig with warm water, instead of scrubbing my eyes, LOL... so I was interested...:)

Great review. I had a very similar product years ago made by Talika, and also heard that another brand named Jica makes it, they call them eyelash extneder, and in their case they are black and made of rayon fibres. I believe there are a couple of Japanese companies out there that makes them and their fibres are made of silk.

ok so imju fiberwig (i got mine at sephora) its like the magic lash, however its all ready black. it lengthens my lashes a lot. and this doesnt flake at all.
