My favorites live were All the Old Show Stoppers, My Slow Descent..., We End Up Together, The Bleeding Heart Show. I have been listening to Together and Challengers!

@823south I felt the same when I saw them live. From the start to the end I don't think I could have gone to a better concert as my first. My personal highlights of that show are the beginning, Sing Me Spanish Techno was the opener and it was amazing. The Bleeding Heart Show was also crazy towards the end of the song, A lot of the crowd were singing along. Talking to Kathryn after the show was over was also cool.

I just started listening to this band and I am hooked. I don't know why I have not heard them before. All of the albums are so full of amazing material. I have alway loved the pop songwriting stuff-Elvis Costello, The Cure, The Killers, XTC, The Flaming Lips, The Smiths, The Spinanes, Sufjan etc but these guys are incredible as pleasurable as anything out there and they are still touring I hope they are as good live I will being seeing them soon

@823south As a fellow XTC fan I thought I'd reply to your comment. Do you have any albums by The New Pornographers yet? I find they have a surprising amount of replayability, I sometimes get tired of them but every time that happens I give them a rest and their songs always sound magical again later. Also, I saw them live earlier this year. I can say that if you're thinking of seeing them live, Do it. Even if you're pessimistic about it.
