You entirely missed the point of my message, which was mocking the way Japanese action movies appear to show people flying through the air as if they were birds.

Quite frankly, it's silly and makes no sense. Sure, there have been some US movies where a character with special powers can do such things, but Japanese movies make it look like everyone can jump 50 feet into the air, or drop 100 feet without injury.
