Totally agree, I feel like I just wasted 13 hours of my life watchong the whole series, such a great build up for such an awkward ending. eek. :-/

There are so many Unidentified Freak Occasions in this show that I've stopped thinking why it was possible for Angelea to have won as the original winner, considering one simple fact that she JUST doesn't take great photos. Period. She's bottom two twice and her personality got a little artificial towards the end of the cycle. It wasn't surprising that if she had won it would be a deliberate tweaking.But what was surprising was that she was disqualified. So I guess in the end the Rules prevailed

If this was actually just a modeling competition, Allison would've won, but this cycle is completely different. Lisa's got that drive to be a star, she's also the best at self branding, and she's stronger than Allison on runway. She also presents herself more than Allison. Allison was a much better film model though, but she was more introverted, which to some people, like Tyson, is a negative. Other than ANTM, Allison didn't really pursue modeling. Lisa does whatever she can to active fame.

it seemed that they made a decision of who won really easily. most seasons you'd see they would have a bit of an argument or something which makes sense. When they first started to talk about Angelea i was like oh she's pregnant, or she's taken drugs, or something. BUT now that i hear this theory about re-making the final judging it makes sense. it was so emotionless, and blah. If anyone knows what actually happened like it so that we can all see.

Final panel was a torture. Both Lisa and Allison looked like they couldn't care less about the whole thing. When Lisa was announced as the winner everyone and the whole situation just felt... "blah".
So that's the feeling cycle 17 left me with and it seems pretty accurate: It was... blah.

You're right the whole episode was ruined. They should have let us see the real ending but let us know that they had to choose a second winner. The way they did things was messy, and made Angelea seem like she committed some illegal crime because they stuck her image and photos from everything. very very disappointing. I was team Allison though, although I was have been super excited for Angelea.
I am disappointed that Allison didn't win, but at the same time I am happy for Lisa and feel that she deserves it. I think she got eliminated way too early in cycle 5 and this is redemption for her.
Overall this cycle is entertaining but not very model-esque. If there's ever to be another All-Stars cycle, please stick to photoshoots and (non-wacky) runways.
Btw although I am not a fan of Angela, I think her covergirl photoshoot and the dress for the final runway were absolutely fabulous.

I enjoyed your cover of this show. I am a Lisa fan all the way. I do feel very sorry for Allison for being rejected three times but the girl is a trooper and by far the most modest of the three. This whole deal with Angelea reminds me a lot of Adrianne Curry, ANTM Cycle 1. She may be disqualified but ultimately, she has the boost now to go on.

I think Lisa is a great choice to be the All Star. I'm absolutely appauled that Angelea really won and it was only her own stupidity that cost her the crown. First off, I was sitting in my financial derivatives class when the finale aired. So yeah, I was pissed, since I didnt watch the finale as it aired!
Second, Why didn't Tyra do this in Cycle 9 and disqualify Selisha? SHE CLEARLY violated the show BEFORE going in! Chantal and Jenah would have made a fantastic final 2, topping it with Jenah winning; which wouldve really accredited the show. Justice was NOT made then, so this is not really THAT surprising!
Pat did you hear about Janice Dickenson's interview where she is claiming the show is rigged? She says that Covergirl actually chooses the winner and the judges don't get as much input as you think...

In terms of the final result, the right choice was made. Dont get me wrong. I love Allison but Lisa is the whole package. She takes great photos, not as good as allison, but can speak and express herself very well.
People are saying Lisa is a crazy bitch but thats what you need to be a star. To be memorable. In Cycle 5, she might have peed in her diaper but this season she was much more mature.

Sorry for the many posts but I want to know why the winner of Cycle 16, Brittani Kline did not walk in the runway show, as stupid as it was. The winner of the previous cycle always walks since Cycle 3 (maybe even earlier).
She is so awesome and it made this finale worse by not seeing her.

The Angelea stuff is a shock, I think. I rather Allison or Lisa as a winner than her though and think they're more deserving. I'm pleased for Lisa and think she's a great model and competitor, also perhaps the most memorable and star quality, but I do feel bad for Allison. The news of Angeleas disqualification ws a big shock, i don't think anyone had time 2 recover from the news in time for the announcement of the final winner, hence the finale ws such an anticlimax. There are so many Unidentified Freak Occasions in this show that I've stopped thinking why it was possible for Angelea to have won as the original winner, considering one simple fact that she JUST doesn't take great photos. Period. She's bottom two twice and her personality got a little artificial towards the end of the cycle. It wasn't surprising that if she had won it would be a deliberate tweaking.But what was surprising was that she was disqualified. So I guess in the end the Rules prevailed

If this was actually just a modeling competition, Allison would've won, but this cycle is completely different. Lisa's got that drive to be a star, she's also the best at self branding, and she's stronger than Allison on runway. She also presents herself more than Allison. Allison was a much better film model though, but she was more introverted, which to some people, like Tyson, is a negative. Other than ANTM, Allison didn't really pursue modeling. Lisa does whatever she can to active fame.

it seemed that they made a decision of who won really easily. most seasons you'd see they would have a bit of an argument or something which makes sense. When they first started to talk about Angelea i was like oh she's pregnant, or she's taken drugs, or something. BUT now that i hear this theory about re-making the final judging it makes sense. it was so emotionless, and blah. If anyone knows what actually happened like it so that we can all see.

You're right the whole episode was ruined. They should have let us see the real ending but let us know that they had to choose a second winner. The way they did things was messy, and made Angelea seem like she committed some illegal crime because they stuck her image and photos from everything. very very disappointing. I am disappointed that Allison didn't win, but at the same time I am happy for Lisa and feel that she deserves it. I think she got eliminated way too early in cycle 5 and this is redemption for her.
Overall this cycle is entertaining but not very model-esque. If there's ever to be another All-Stars cycle, please stick to photoshoots and (non-wacky) runways.
Btw although I am not a fan of Angela, I think her covergirl photoshoot and the dress for the final runway were absolutely fabulous.

I think Lisa is a great choice to be the All Star. I'm absolutely appauled that Angelea really won and it was only her own stupidity that cost her the crown. I'm from Team Allison but I don't think she really needed to win, she has strong passions other than being in front of the camera and I think she'll do really well from here.

First off, I was sitting in my financial derivatives class when the finale aired. So yeah, I was pissed, since I didnt watch the finale as it aired!
Second, Why didn't Tyra do this in Cycle 9 and disqualify Selisha? SHE CLEARLY violated the show BEFORE going in! Chantal and Jenah would have made a fantastic final 2, topping it with Jenah winning; which wouldve really accredited the show. Justice was NOT made then, so this is not really THAT surprising!

In terms of the final result, the right choice was made. Dont get me wrong. I love Allison but Lisa is the whole package. She takes great photos, not as good as allison, but can speak and express herself very well.
People are saying Lisa is a crazy bitch but thats what you need to be a star. To be memorable. In Cycle 5, she might have peed in her diaper but this season she was much more mature.
Tyra made a good point. A model needs the light but Allison works against the light. Great call

As for the Angelea situation, if I had not been on the internet reading spoilers, I think they covered their bases pretty well. I mean when I watched the retaped finale, i didnt acknowledge that Angelea was gone but maybe its because I preferred Lisa and Allison anyway. I woul have called for more of an explaination on the Disqualification though
The fact they picked Angelea first to win is so wrong. Four Bottom Two Appearaces and bad photos must not count for much when making the decision

The Angelea stuff is a shock, I think. I rather Allison or Lisa as a winner than her though and think they're more deserving. I totally agree! It ruined the whole season of All Stars. I think they should make another episode of someone explaing what happened with real footage!!

I read somewhere that Tyra is doing a Americas Next Top MALE Model, and the reason shes been using Tyson Beckford? a lot is because he is gonna teach the contestants along side Tyra.

I didn't like Angelea she was ugly. I LOVED Allison cuz she was unique and beautiful. And I'm not happy for Lisa.. she is more of a reality show celebrity then a top model. but this is just my opinion.

The news of Angeleas disqualification ws a big shock, i don't think anyone had time 2 recover from the news in time for the announcement of the final winner, hence the finale ws such an anticlimax. I don't believe that Angelea ws ever the winner, she ws 2 emotionally unstable. She probably quit right after she ws confronted about the news leak while in Greece. I can totaly picture her taking it as a 'personal attack', bet you anything she stormed out shoutting ' Yall can kiss mah ass bitches!'

@lulusapples Angelea was most likely the original winner because why did they need to reshoot the final judging and have it awkwardly end the way it did LOL. If she lost then there's no need to reshoot because then she can just leave. I can totally imagine her storming out though after the confrontation from the producers LOL.
