you can get in australia if someone from america (or some other country) brings over ONE copy, if its just one copy of the game customs won't look at it, but if its like 5 or 6 copies it will attract some attention. you can get it by post but the post office will likely look at it and report it (unless they're lazy and just deliver it without care).

ultimate jump stars should've have been dubbed over, hell they have the time to go to 3ds now! honestly AUS needs to get their shit together and so does the middle east. in the middle east call of duty can pass with a rating of 3 and up (im not messin with you, gameinformer has shown it) and need for speed as 17 and up. rating systems are so terrible in countries other than the main 3 regions (US, EUR, and JAP.) but i want to truly see what korea does if homefront does well.

So I dont really know what sense that is just to ban this one game, Australian gamers have been petitioning to get the Adults only rating (which is R18+) on videogames for over half a year and so far the ratings board and Government is doing Jack Sh*# About it, I mean if Movies can be rated with an R18+ rating I dont see why videogames cant be rated the same way.

Oh well Looks like I'll have to import MK9 like many others down here who will most definitley be doing it.

I live in Australia and I think i can speak on behalf of every gamer down here that Australia has to be one of the worst places to be a gamer, and the banning of MK9 is a prime exaple as to why that is, but what i dont get is how is it that games Like Madworld and House of the Dead overkill can make it pass our censors with a MA15+ Rating, those 2 games i mentioned have as much violence as MK9 has, and besides all the previous Mortal Kombat games were never banned or edited in australia before

1. They are going to release an edited version of the game (God Forbid that happens)

2. Australian Gamers are going to import and or download it (this option is very likely)

3. (Now I like this one) Warner Bros. who are in association with the games production are gonna try to do their best to appeal to the ratings board into releasing the game with an MA 15+ rating, as they managed to do it in the past with other games that met similar problems.

@darius19r Cartoon Network and video games don't go well. Cartoon Network these days sucks so much since they have all these BS cartoons and no anime. Mortal Kombat being banned in Australia has no significance to me nor a lot of others, since there are a ton of MK gamers in the US and Japan. Anyway, Mortal Kombat being banned in Australia means that all the Australian MK fans will just pirate the game.
