Go to Colva Beach ( an absolute rubbish dump) and have a look. Palolem beach was pretty good though and Benaulim Beach was fair but still heaps of rubbish everywhere. We stayed at Soul Vacation... a lovely hotel except for the cost and the pool being literally unswimable due to green algae.

Mate, I have lived and worked all over Asia. I promise you, Goan beaches are shit...filthy and overrated ! Try Kata Noi Beach in Phuket, Maldives, vung Tau, Vietnam. Australia has the worlds best beaches by a long shot !
