his routine's gotten way better since this was posted. when i first saw this routine i completely agreed, but since then he's added more difficult elements (liukin) and cleaned up his form as well.

i remember when i was younger some of the guys i did gymnastics with went to nationals and took videos of some other gymnasts...one of which was a kid from universal. yin was doing exactly the same thing for their routines

Because of the bonus they were applying to difficult routines at Nationals. So basically a 7.0 set would get .3 bonus because the routine was very difficult to begin with. I personally don't agree with that rule.

My friends get what i am saying anyway... when his dad first dad that year ago it seemed he was doing it 95% cuz he was truely excited for his son. Now it seems it's part of his dads show. Like 50% he is doing it cuz he IS exited and the other half he is doing it for HIMSELF and for his own attention unto himself which is rather sad. Like it's "his gig" what HE will be known for doing, not in just his genuine excitement for his son.
