And no one is making excuses for what he did because he effed up big time.There's never a good excuse for his actions. just like there wasn't any good excuse when blair betrayed him all for her speech--or when she slept with carter. Fran is right. they're both FUps.

The writers gambled both their characterizations so let's see how they play this out.

Fran this is sooo gorgeous! Chuck has a long road to redemption. I know I should be mad at him to bits, but, Blair had him kiss a guy so that she can be part of something elite. He forgave her, I think she should too. I love them and I hope that this leads to something amazing the end. I understand why they needed to be split though from a writers POV. As for the rest of the show, I honestly think its lacking. needs improvement.
