I stumbled on to this masterpiece, and am so glad I did. i found his first 2 solo albums. can't wait to listen to them also. every song is just so complete. something special indeed.
I just finally heard this album for the first time, after counting "Give You, Take Me" and Duncan's self-titled sophomore album among my top favorite albums ever, ever, ever. It's so fantastic. A logical progression from something like, say, "Send Me The Bill For Your Friendship". The thing I can't wrap my head around - is this truly Peter Godwin singing? On this song in particular it sounds just like Duncan. Even on the songs where I'm sure it is Godwin, their voices are strikingly similar.
@TheCrippledSilence From the original cover:"Peter Godwin Lead vocal, harmonies & back up-vocals, alto and tenor on "Flame" choir; vocal effects, moog synthesiser, cymbal on "Criminal World".
Duncan Browne Harmonies & back-up vocals, all choirs, 6 & 12 string electric string electric guitars, Spanish and 12 string acoustic guitars, guitar choirs, and solos, voicebox, bass on "Jade" finale, keyboards and synthesisers, vibraphone, tamburine, handclaps and fingerclicks
I remember how in the late 70s Alan Bangs has introduced this track in his midnight show 'Nightflight' on BFBS (Germany). I sat there with my mouth open and the next day the first thing I did was to go to record store and order this great record. After that I bought almost all from Duncan Browne I could get hold of. Good to meet it again now here. Wonderful music alltogether!

Duncan Browne came in as fast as he went out, left us some gems from another time while he was at it.
Bless.
