@theginogt500 Well, you can hear the motor, but not very loud- the gearbox is louder. But if you tip the trigger shortly (without shooting bb's) you can hear it very clearly
can somebody help me? i can't decide if i should buy this gun. im new at airsoft but i know everything about guns like there parts and what they need and how to care of them. Some people say it's really heavy other say it isn't that heavy at all. so i don't know what to believe. can some one help?
A little description about the gun: it is a great support weapon. Has a Large box mag whitch can hold 4000 bb. It is damn heavy. The flashider is a hell getting of. When you have used this gun for a while the parts Will be loose, and some of Them Will fall of. Now over to the good things in combat. In combat the gun Will never run out of ammo. Awesome. The bateries holds. The bipod Are a great future when you camp on a sniper position. It never jam. The gun has 420 fps so the bb's Will
@96softgun Well, I had no problem getting the flashhider of- and there is nothing I have lost yet. The only thing I mentioned is that the fake gas tube got a bit 'wobbly'.... but I fixed it with a nice piece of rail ;-)
@96softgun There's a little screw on the underside of the flashhider. Open it- and unscrew the hider anti clockwise. That's the most reason why people doesn't get it off
does this gun have the same trigger switch problem as the a&k m249 does. you know where you pull the trigger and it just keeps firing until you take out the battery
@4everUSNavy Well... no. I know the trigger problem of the M249, but this problem is simply solved. It's just a micro switch where you put in a little bit of silicon spray after you have cleaned it. It's a long time ago that I have disassembled the MK43, but 1. I think it works a bit different and 2. I never had that problem. In the last time I prefered to play with other aegs, but when the MK43 was in use I shot about 30.000 BB's without problems
@Tieronewarrior The original akku that comes with the AEG isn't that bad; it's a 9,6 V mini type with 1500mAh, it holds for at least one full magacine, so about 3000 BB's, maybe more
@ninodrifter2 Hello Sir back! Well, first of all, it's some kind of preference: what do you like more, aiming with full auto or shooting semi auto? The next thing is: on what kind of area do you play? A dense forrest is the ideal playground for airsoftguns like the VSR-10, also CQB-situations with buildings to hide in. In less vegetation I would prefer a full auto aeg. So my opinion is: I'm more the full auto player; I don't have an airsoftgun like the VSR-10. Just an SR-25
@peettriple sir i already have vsr10 i just bored shooting long range i want some more action can u help me which one is better the mk43 or the SAW im from japan the price of mk43 is expensive compare to SAW m249 i was planng 2 buy next week so hope you reply soon thanks again sir more power to u and 2 ur collection
@ninodrifter2 Well, I have both, the Mk43 and the SAW. Both AEG's are from A&K and lot of fun. The advantage of the Mk43 is the better feeding of the bb's; it has a permanent drive running when you pull the trigger. The SAW has a sound activated feeding system. Anyway, it works, and the advantage of the SAW is the better removing of the mag box and the possibility to use normal M16 mags instead. I've done a little video review of the SAW- search for it in my videos
@ninodrifter2 Both. Out of the box, the SAW is a bit stronger. I've measured them (out of box) with 415 fps (SAW) and 350 fps (Mk43). The Mk43 has the adjustable rate of fire and more bb-capacity (about 3500 vs. 3000 bb's- but I think that's not that important), the SAW is easier to modify (barrel changing, to handle the ammo box etc.). One thing you should do or prove by both of them: the hop up. There's also a vid how you can modify it without spending even one buck ;-)
@bunnybossable Well, the hop up is still good- but it's better to modify it (watch my video about that). I only use 9.6V batteries, I don't know how many rps it would have with 8.4V.
@ColdethSteeleth Sure, but not now. We have winter now, I will make another video in spring. Fitting the star rail is easy- just put it off from the star feed tray cover, make some holes at the right positions on the A&K cover and put it on with 2 screws.
@justzac8762 I just used the rail; the star feed tray cover doesn't fit on this aeg. I had no problems with my hop up, anyway, it's not to bad to change the hop up rubber and the hop bucking rubber. If this doesn't help, watch my 'Modified Hop Up for A&K/Classic Army M249 or A&K M60' video. That might help you
@xXMisfitBoyXx In the video only the barrel was changed (madbull black phyton precision barrel). Now there's a little more, an M120 Spring from G&G and some optical tune ups (R.I.S. on the feed tray cover, red dot and a little rail on the outer barrel)
@peettriple what mm is the barrel i have the same weapon and need the specifics on what i should get to upgrade it, i know some and i hate the technical stuff. I already found the spring though. So yeah the specifics on those parts would be nice. thanks.
@D3m0snipe1 Hello! The barrel is a 6,03x455mm,tight bore,AK from Madbull, also with a hop bucking from Madbull. Spring is now an M120 from G&G. Then I put on the rail from a STAR M60 Feed Tray Cover With Top Rail onto the original feed tray cover (not on the video). I think that was all... the Mk43 has a good stock shape, so you haven't to do very much. If you change the barrel, put on a little bit cylinder grease on the rear end of the hop up- then you can't loose air there- some FPS plus ;-)
Nicely done! Lots of good information there. Reviews full of chat are ok to a point but its the performance that really counts and you have demonstrated that very well. I'm going to have to order one of these now!
@catfightfan Thanks a lot ;-) I was playing yesterday and that thing is still working without problems. I have a RIS and a scope on it now, usefull feature
@wjlasloThe2nd Yes, that's not easy. I've bought the whole feed tray cover, but I can't remember the manufactor. I removed the RIS and fitted it onto the original feed tray cover from the A&K. You just have to remove some parts from the inside of the original cover, than you can fit it.
@peettriple Does your gun shoot high and right? OR at least seem to shoot high? I'm sure the HIGH part is because of barrel/eye level orientation, but mine veer off to the right consistently.
@RADIOACTIVEBUNY Well, can't say yet, it's a long time ago when I made this video. But this day there was strong wind, you can see it at the end of the video. Maybe that's the reason of the right spin. Normaly this AEG is firing very straight.

Just came back from an event... I was firing about 10000 BB's, not one time feeding problems. This thing is very useful... you will have fun with it ;-)
There is place, but not very much. A large type batterie is a bit to long, so it will out-look from the boxmag. If that does not disturb you, you can do it.
Sorry for the late answer. I don't think so, cause the batterie is on the gun-side. A large type batterie will outlook about an inch (cirka). The bullet belt would make a bent over the batterie... I'm afraid that would look... strange
Ok,thanks, I was thinking I should do something like that, I've heard horror stories about the hopup being a little cheap on the m249 and getting destroyed during sustained fire.
Uhh, I jus bought this gun, aneything I should know? I heard that the hopup bucking is really crappy and can get snaged by a bb... Pls respond so I know what to expect...
Can't say; I always change my hop buckings immediately. But my surprise was, that the internals in the Mk43 had much better quality than the hop up/hop bucking than the ones in the A&K M249. I think there will be no problems; otherwise, to be safe, change them with rubbers from for example mad bull. So did I.
There is nothing wrong with the hop up bucking on A&Ks m60 models. It was only for the m249, which had a rubber hop up bucking. They have metal hop up buckings in the newer ones though.
Actually the AEG is in the out of the box form; I've only changed the inner barrel and the hop up, both from madbull. But the quality of A&K became very good meanwhile, so it's not necessary. It was chronoed with 340 FPS with 0,25 gr. BB's.
Question does the mag make some type of noise when is charging the bb in ?
