I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed God in the supernatural power you gave Moses I ask you to close my daughter's lungs like you did to the red sea.. Drs call it miraculous. I say b/c I dared to believe I received.Drs encourage me to write a bk.

@kaspersommer I know exactly what you mean. The faith to believe in something so amazing takes an act of God. One is saved by hearing the gospel, so if you want to believe, read the first four books in the new testament. When you're through, read them again, their truth will convince you.
@Robertsonsw1 some times knowing the history of it helps too. i remember i was wondering and was scared if someone or some people invented Christ, to dupe people. i wanted to believe so badly, it was so irresistible what J.C. offers. so remarkable and moving i wanted it to be true so badly. it took some research to understand how 12 men died in believing and knowing what was true or knew was a lie. conclusion. Jesus Christ is Lord.

@kaspersommer Perhaps you could start by learning more about the life of Jesus (he did in fact exist and he was crucified, willingly) and question His existence and your own. You are here on Earth for a reason, as was Jesus. In the present that 'reason' doesn't make any sense, for there are some things that can only be observed and understood from a distance (history). Try reading the four gospels, and if that puts you to sleep then just listen to them via mp3's.

I couldn't agree anymore, but what about the poor souls in third world countries and North Korea. why is god allowing it? I have been a christian all my life and I think we cannot ignore reality. Sure us in great countries are lucky and it seems God is on our side. But what about all of our brothers and sisters in undeveloped countries.
Even the third world peoples have a chance to accept God, those who do might not live as great a life as an atheist American living in Beverly Hills, but when the Rapture comes the third world peoples are the ones who are going to rise up and join the Lord, but that American is the one who's going to stay on the Earth with all it's sickness and turmoil.
All I'm saying is that everything ends well for those who love God and believe that Jesus is their Savior.

Actually, Columbine was an incident where a couple of guys who idolized Hitler watched an action movie over and over again and even used lines from it while blowing people to pieces. A picture of a sunset and lyrics about everlasting love and peace do not evoke violence.

This video showed me a lot of things that I should know about just like how many people love the Lord just like me! One thing I know that you should never do is to never let go of the Lord. Never let go of the Lord because he is almighty and awsome and one day he might help you some how. I know the Lord helps someone everyday. I will always praise the Lord everyday in my life. I couldn't agree anymore, but what about the poor souls in third world countries and North Korea. why is god allowing it? I have been a christian all my life and I think we cannot ignore reality. Sure us in great countries are lucky and it seems God is on our side. But what about all of our brothers and sisters in undeveloped countries.

Even the third world peoples have a chance to accept God, those who do might not live as great a life as an atheist American living in Beverly Hills, but when the Rapture comes the third world peoples are the ones who are going to rise up and join the Lord, but that American is the one who's going to stay on the Earth with all it's sickness and turmoil.
All I'm saying is that everything ends well for those who love God and believe that Jesus is their Savior.

Actually, Columbine was an incident where a couple of guys who idolized Hitler watched an action movie over and over again and even used lines from it while blowing people to pieces. A picture of a sunset and lyrics about everlasting love and peace do not evoke violence.

i am 14 years old, when i started to really be a christian was this summer in a christian camp. i was looking forward to every meeting eeryday with great worship. we played this song, I love jesus a way i cant explain, i make mistakes. but jesus still loves me, no mather what. this song make me wanna pray and worship him in a way thats diffrent. in touches me and makes me freeze and feel warm at the same time.

this summer on my way to swiss while we were drivin up the mountain i really tuk the time to listen to the music and luk at god's beautiful nature and this song realy tuched me.i really felt his presence and i used to think that it was impossible but the truth is that i didnt give it a try. so for all those out there who want to feel gods presence but dont wanna let go of their usual daily life..i suggest u give it a try and really b open to receivin from god. if u want it bad enuf u mite get it

the verses sean quoted are kinda out of context. Paul said " speaking to ourselves in psalms and hymns" was for the benefit of those who didnt have a singing voice so that they would not hamper themselves.. if you cannot sing, speak! praise God all the same!

I see a lot of generalisations and fitting the gospel to fit your argument. Instead of reading and coughing it up like a furball, take it into your heart. You are right sean payne we are supposed to sing in hymns and psalms and 'admonish' each other with grace and mercy. The only comfort I have taken from the fact that you are citing from a book you have not accepted as good news for yourself is God's promise that no word returns to Him empty. No even from you.
