I have to say that the Kingsmen have consistently had some of the most Godly men in their lineups that have ever been associated with the Gospel Music industry. These men seem to consistently sing from their hearts, and it makes a big difference in the music. I love it, Bless the Lord at all times!

This is a awesome song from an awesome group. Love this lineup of Kingsmen.. I love to hear Chris sing... Chris Collins has a beautiful voice, could listen to him all day.. My husband is in his final days of cancer n i listen to this every morning...Pat
It is George Younce and Geraldine and Rickey in the background, George Younce of the Cathedrals hosted the NQC for years, up until the last few years the Cathedrals retired in 1999, George kind of stepped down from hosting it, and cutting back, then Jerry Goff started to come in and host it, he also hosted the Singing News Fan Awards as well, they played a big part in hosting the NQC, until the doctors told George he needed to cut back and slow down a bit. These where precious memories indeed.
This song could make a Baptist become Pentacostal. Won't that be something to rise up and see Jesus. No matter where his saints are , they will still rise up from the grave to meet the Lamb. Tim Surrett is a great lead singer. My Mama and I were fortunate enough to be at this singing, while my husband, Doug, was away with Promise Keepers. I think I may have had the better time. Gwen Weaver
Tim Surrett, in my opinion, is one the best leads I have ever heard and I have heard alot of them. You can hear the passion coming out of him while he is singing this song.
seriously, thanks for posting this song. I first heard it when I was in elementary school. almost 17 years ago. I thought it was a pretty song, but i never really understood why daddy would cry everytime he heard it. Now I understand completely! HOW CAN YOU NOT CRY?!?! Now I cry and sing it at the top of my lungs with my arms raised to the sky barely able to get the words out! the songwriter was very annointed when he wrote this. THank you GOD!
Thanks for this wonderful song by THE KINGSMEN. I give YOU 5 *****. I love Southern Gospel Music very much. I will watch some more of your videos. May God always Bless YOU.

I think Chris Collins is one of the clearest, smoothest tenors the Kingsmen ever had.

@DisneyGator Great song. You may not know, but it was written by the late Jack Toney, former lead singer for Hovie Lister and the Statesmen

Chris Collins doesn't have that really high range like most Kingsmen tenors...but he flat knew how to sing the part. His voice was awesome.

Chris didnt do the squeaky thing, he was the smoothest tenor the Kingsmen had. Parrack is still my favorite, Chris 2nd. jmho.
