Hi, What about non itunes videos on a Windows PC? Or photos? Can I watch say my home videos from my camcorder or digital camera? TV shows I have recorder on my TV tunner (AVI files) can I stream any of these videos without having to convert to itunes mp4? Thanks
@winkipinky As far as I know, itunes on a PC should allow you to select what folder you wish to view pictures from on the AppleTV. Videos in your iTunes library are available on the AppleTV in the computers section.
Streaming from an iOS device has to be either itunes content placed on the device or a YouTube video.
If you have AVI content you want played on the AppleTV, I suggest either converting it all and importing it into iTunes, OR waiting for a good jailbreak option for the AppleTV
It's the 3Gs. This works with the 3Gs, 4, and 4s.
