Speaking from a djs perspective, this classic was underrated at time due to the lack of a good 12" instrumental version readily available to help us djs incorporate this track in our sets. This was before the days of serato. Nowadays djs can edit their own "mix friendly" edits or actually ruin a good song by making their own remix that they'd rather play instead of the original In hindsight it was probably a good thing that this wasn't played out by 1999 or ruined by inept remixes
